MIDDLETOWN, Conn. -- A Middletown teacher is accused of biting her husband in the face.
Police said a fight broke out between Dipti Shah, 33, and her husband at the couple’s apartment complex on Brittany Farms Road in New Britain.
Shah is accused of biting her husband on his face during the argument.
Police said Shah said that she and her husband her having an argument about their relationship.
According to the arrest affidavit, “Dipti Shah stated she approached Jigar Shah and bit the left side of his face slightly out of anger.

Shah is a teacher at Bielefield Elementary School in Middletown. Shah is an elementary instructional student teacher.
The Middletown School District did not return Eyewitness News’ calls seeking comment.
