President (CEO) Trump has decided to abandon his promise to move the U.S. embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem, the eternal capital of the Jewish people and the State of Israel.
NRG reports:
The U.S. Embassy will not be transferred to Jerusalem. President Trump decided, like his predecessors, to sign a waiver that would delay the move by half a year. This is in contrast to his repeated declarations in the past that he would move the embassy to the "eternal capital of the Jewish people." The decision was made in recent days.
The “Jerusalem Law,” approved by Congress in 1995,*stated,*"Jerusalem should remain an undivided city in which the rights of every ethnic and religious group are protected; Jerusalem should be recognized as the capital of the State of Israel; and the United States Embassy in Israel should be established in Jerusalem no later than May 31, 1999."" :yawn:
