Police have a suspect in custody in a drive-by shooting that has forever changed the life of a little girl.
11-year-old Destiny Payne will most likely undergo years of reconstructive surgery after she was shot in the face Wednesday night with an assault rifle.
Destiny's mother, brother, and sister were also hit by gunfire in their home on the 1700 block of Dequindre, but their injuries are said to be not nearly as serious.
Detroit Police
ave one suspect, a 19-year-old, in custody and are looking for another. There was still no word Thursday on a motive for the shooting.
