UC Basketball Player Charged With Assault
Murray Accused Of Pushing Woman, Punching Man

CINCINNATI -- A University of Cincinnati basketball player has been charged with two counts of assault, News 5 reported.
Erick Murray, a sophomore walk-on, is accused of pushing a 20-year-old woman during a verbal altercation and punching a man three times, causing a laceration below the man's right eye and facial bruising.
Murray's arraignment Monday was continued until April 25.
The 20-year-old Murray, who is 6 feet 5 inche
s tall, had a very limited role on the basketball team last season. He played only 40 minutes in 22 games, scoring six points and gr
abbing 10 rebounds.
He is a marketing major from Westerville, Ohio.
Murray's arrest comes less than three weeks after the arrest of assistant coach Keith LeGree on a drunken driving charge.
UC has suspended LeGree indefinitely.
