Bay area deputy investigated
A Hillsborough County detention deputy is facing accusations of sexual battery.
The sheriff's office said Andre Harrison, 47, inappropriately touched a 13-year-old in 2001.
Sheriff's deputies arrested Harrison Friday and investigators said he admitted to the crime. The sheriff's office placed Harrison on unpaid administrative leave.
Harrison has been with the department since December of 1999 workin
at the Orient Road Jail.
