The Toronto Police Service requests assistance identifying a man wanted in a robbery investigation.
On Monday, January 7, 2019, at approximately 4:30 p.m., officers responded to a call for a robbery in the Spadina Avenue and Sullivan Street area.
It is reported that:
-a 52-year-old woman was crossing the street
- she was approached from behind by an unknown man
- he grabbed her purse with such force that she was knocked down
- she was dragged on the ground as the suspect pulled her purse
The man is described as 20-30, 5'5", wearing a black parka, grey mittens, light blue jeans and a brown fur Yukon hat.
