Man slaps/smears woman with human feces in Bronx subway station

What a s—show.
A man smeared human feces on a woman’s face in an unprovoked rush-hour attack inside a Bronx subway station, sickening new video shows.
The 43-year-old victim was sitting on a bench on the southbound platform of the Wakefield–241st Street station around 5:15 p.m. Feb. 21 when a man began walking toward her, holding a black plastic bag, according to cops and the clip released late Sunday.
Then, without saying a word, he smashed the vile contents of the bag in her face, and then smeared it on the back of her head, the footage shows.

The assailant took off after the attack, and cops were still looking for him Monday morning.

The nauseating incident comes amid a frightening uptick in Big Apple subway crime.

Just three days earlier, William Blount, 57, allegedly bludgeoned “hero’’ city health worker Nina Rothschild, also 57, with a hammer and stole her bag in a Queens subway station.

Rothschild was taken to Weill Cornell Medical Center in critical condition with a fractured skull and bleeding on her brain, according to cops and sources.

A Bronx man who allegedly smeared human feces on a woman’s face on a subway platform last week has been arrested, NYPD said.
Frank Abrokwa, 37, approached a 43-year-old woman who was sitting on a bench on the southbound platform of the Wakefield-241st Street subway station in the Bronx around 5:15 p.m. Monday, Feb. 21, cops said.
Suddenly, without saying a word, he hit the unsuspecting woman in the face and the back of her head with human feces before fleeing, footage released by police showed. It’s not clear whether the feces was his.

Man slaps/smears woman with human feces in Bronx subway station

The sicko accused of smearing feces on a woman’s face in a revolting Bronx attack has a lengthy rap sheet — and was released without bail in separate assault cases last month, authorities said Thursday.
Frank Abrokwa, 37, has been arrested more than 20 times since 1999, including on Feb. 5, when he allegedly slugged a man in the face at the Port Authority Bus Terminal, according to cops and a criminal complaint.
The victim felt someone punch him, and when he turned around, Abrokwa was the only person in the immediate area, the complaint said.
He was charged with third-degree assault, aggravated harassment in the second degree, attempted assault in the third degree, and second-degree aggravated harassment, the complaint said.
Abrokwa allegedly punched another victim, a 30-year-old man, multiple times in the head on Jan. 7 at the 125th Street 2 and 3 train station in Harlem, according to cops and court papers.
He was arrested at the scene and charged with third-degree assault, third-degree attempted assault and second-degree harassment, according to his complaint.
Abrokwa was arraigned in connection to both of those incidents Feb. 6 and cut loose on supervised release — because the charges are not eligible for monetary bail, the Manhattan District Attorney’s office said.

Abrokwa’s most recent bust was on Feb. 22 — a day after the vile attack underground — when he allegedly menaced an employee with a screwdriver during a robbery at a hardware store on White Plains Road near East 237th Street in Wakefield, cops said.

Frank Abrokwa is led out of Bronx Court on March 1, 2022

The sicko who allegedly smashed his own feces in a Bronx straphanger’s face joked with cops that “s–t happens” before sneering to a Bronx judge, “F–k you, bitch.”
Frank Abrokwa, 37, was busted Monday at his homeless shelter in connection to the revolting Feb. 21 attack, according to cops and police sources.
Upon arrest, he made light of the attack, quipping to cops, “S–t happens. Haha. This is a s–tty situation. Haha,” Bronx Assistant District Attorney Grace Phillips said during Abrokwa’s arraignment late Tuesday.
Abrokwa — apparently impatient because Brooklyn detectives showed up to arrest him for an unrelated hate crime from September — also made a scene in Bronx Criminal Court.
Prior to his appearance before Judge Wanda Licitra, he could be heard in the holding area grumbling, “Why am I still here? I’m f–king tired of it. I’m hungry.”
Then he appeared in the courtroom wearing a baseball hat with “USA” emblazoned on it, and a silk track jacket with covers of hip-hop magazines printed on it.

Phillips requested an order of protection for the 43-year-old feces victim — prompting an outburst from Abrokwa, who told the judge, “I don’t know that b—h,” referring to the victim.
Poop perp Frank AbrokwaFrank Abrokwa allegedly smashed his own feces in a Bronx straphanger’s face.
“Can I go with the Brooklyn detectives?” he pleaded.
He then lashed out at the judge, lamenting, “Why am I being mistreated by the system?”
“I’m being respectful. I’m talking to my attorney,” he snapped at the jurist. “You’re talking to her. Not to me. F–k you, bitch.”
At that point, Licitra called the case and had Abrokwa removed from the courtroom — but brought him back in later to continue the arraignment, which lasted about 40 minutes.
Ultimately, Abrokwa was freed without bail — because the charges against him were not bail-eligible under the state’s bail reform laws, despite prosecutors’ request for him to be held on $15,000 bond, or $5,000 cash.
Horrifying video of the attack shows Abrokwa allegedly slapping a bag filled with his own crap in the victim’s face — and then rubbing it on the back of her head — as she sat on a bench at the Wakefield-241st Street subway station.
Just before the attack, Abrokwa approached the victim and said, “Hey mami, how come you don’t want to talk to me?,” Phillips said.
“The complainant did not engage with the defendant,” the ADA said. “Instead of taking the lack of engagement in stride, the defendant responded with violence. He walked into a nearby idling subway car and defecated in a bag.”

“He then walked back to the complainant and repeatedly smashed the bag and left his feces in her face, head, neck, shoulders and back area. She had feces in her eyes, and hair. As he attacked, the defendant stated in sum and substance: ‘Like this, bitch?’”
The victim used her bag to shield herself but suffered a small bleeding cut inside her lip, and a swollen and red forehead, Phillips said.
But just after being freed in the Bronx, Abrokwa was nabbed in connection to the Brooklyn hate crime.
In that case, Abrokwa approached a 46-year-old man on Utica Avenue near Park Place in Crown Heights around 5:30 p.m. Sept. 9 and snarled, “F–king Jew, I’m going to kill you,” cops said.

Abrokwa was charged with harassment and menacing, both as hate crimes, police said. His arraignment was pending Wednesday morning.
Abrokwa has 22 prior unsealed arrests dating back to 1999, and dozens of sealed arrests, according to authorities and police sources.

A sicko who allegedly smeared his own feces on a straphanger’s face was freed without bail Wednesday on a fresh set of hate crime charges.
Frank Abrokwa was hauled before a judge for the second time in as many days — this time on charges he spat on a Jewish man and chased him down a Brooklyn street, screaming, “Come here, you f—king Jew, I am going to kill you,” according to a criminal complaint.
The alleged hate crime happened Sept. 9 in Crown Heights.
The career criminal — who is accused of rubbing his excrement in a woman’s face in the Bronx last week — is charged with second-degree aggravated harassment as a hate crime, disorderly conduct and two counts of menacing, including one as a hate crime.

Arizona 'Spider-man' climbs wall of burning building to rescue baby

The career criminal charged in the Bronx feces attack bragged on social media about getting out of jail with no bail and boasted that he’d shoot anything he could get his “f—king hands on.”
“The feces scenario should keep every female in their right mind away from me,” Frank Abrokwa, 37, mumbles in a four-minute Facebook video posted Thursday morning.
The alleged poopetrator was referring to the vile Feb. 21 attack in which he smeared his own crap on a woman on a subway platform in the Bronx after she rebuffed him, according to prosecutors.
Abrokwa, who was charged with reckless endangerment, assault, menacing, harassment and disorderly conduct in that case, was released without bail — because state law prohibits cash bail from being set on any of the charges.
Abrokwa was also let go a second time Wednesday on hate-crime charges stemming from a September incident in Brooklyn.

“NYDOC knows how I play,” he wrote. “I’m not posting Bail. Never Been Up North Never Will.”
Abrokwa, who is homeless, has nearly two dozen arrests dating back to 1999, including on assault charges from alleged incidents on Feb. 5 and Jan. 7. He was arraigned on both cases on Feb. 6 and cut loose on supervised release — again, because the charges are not eligible for monetary bail.

“I’m about to shoot some hoops,” Abrokwa says in the clip, which at one point shows the same jacket emblazoned with the covers of hip-hop magazines that he was wearing when he was arrested at his homeless shelter Monday. “If you want to play some ball, step on the court. Frank Abrokwa is led out of Bronx Court on March 1, 2022

The sicko who allegedly smeared his own feces on a New York City straphanger’s face last month finally got dumped behind bars on Monday.
Frank Abrokwa, 37, got jailed after his arraignment in Manhattan Criminal Court, where Judge Michael Gaffey set his bail at $5,000 on fresh charges of criminal mischief and harassment stemming from a violent incident over the weekend.
Prior to his arrest Saturday, Abrokwa had been free to roam the streets — having been released without bail in both the heinous Feb. 21 attack on a Bronx subway, and a separate hate crime charge in Brooklyn.

His release caused a stink, with Mayor Eric Adams saying it was a sign of a broken system and “failing criminal justice laws,” such as the bail reforms passed by the state in 2019.
Sources have said that Abrokwa has a lengthy rap sheet, with more than 20 arrests since 1999, including two other attacks on the transit system on Feb. 5 and Jan. 7, for which he was on supervised release.
In the latest case, Abrokwa is accused of barging into an office at a Harlem storage facility, yelling at a worker, at around 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
He allegedly shattered a glass window with a dumbbell, according to the criminal complaint.

As the staffer at Treasure Island Storage Facility was cleaning up the shards, Abrokwa allegedly told him: “I want my refund. I’m leaving Monday that is why I broke the glass.”
The suspect returned the next day at around 3:30 p.m. and said something like, “If I don’t get my refund by Monday, I’m gonna come back here and catch a felony,” the complaint states.

Prosecutors with Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg’s office requested $5,000 bail, or $15,000 insurance company bond, which the judge granted — while also ordering a psychiatric evaluation for Abrokwa.
The accused career criminal has had previous outbursts in court, spewing obscenities at the Bronx judge who presided over his arraignment on aggravated harassment and other charges in the vile underground attack.
Horrifying video allegedly showed Abrokwa slapping a bag filled with his own excrement in the victim’s face — and then rubbing it on the back of her head — as she sat on a bench at the Wakefield-241st Street subway station.
Just before the disgusting assault, Abrokwa approached the victim and said, “Hey mami, how come you don’t want to talk to me?,” prosecutors have said.
The brazen creep, who was busted about a week later at a homeless shelter, allegedly joked to cops that “S–t happens” upon his arrest.

Abrokwa was being held on Riker’s Island, and is due back in court April 11 on his most recent case.

The sicko who allegedly smeared his own feces on a New York City straphanger was scalded in the face with boiling water on Rikers Island, The Post has learned.
Frank Abrokwa’s face is expected to “have scars for the rest of his life” after a fellow Rikers Island detainee splashed him with boiling water late last week at the Anna M. Kross Correctional Facility, jailhouse sources said.
The attacker ironically has the last name “Burns” and was moved to a different housing area following the incident, a source noted.
Abrokwa, who infamously told police “s–t happens” after he was arrested for rubbing his own feces on a 43-year-old woman as she waited for the subway on Feb. 21, had a target on his back following the nauseating incident, sources said.
“He didn’t deserve it but if anyone was going to get burned, he would be the first one in line,” a source noted.

The source pointed out the incident could permanently disfigure Abrokwa, and his attacker, who’s in custody on felony assault charges, will likely be re-arrested on new raps.

“You can wash s–t off your face and remain with the mental scars. When it comes to hot water, you will have physical and mental scars for the rest of your life,” the source said.

The events that led up to the violent altercation remain unclear.

Jailhouse sources noted Abrokwa clearly has “mental health issues” and has been known to “snap at the drop of a hat” since he arrived at the notorious jail complex in mid-March.

“Look at him wrong or say the wrong thing and he was ready to fight,” one source said.

Earlier this year, Abrokwa, 37, became a rallying cry for politicians eager to see changes to New York’s soft-on-crime bail reform laws after he was allegedly caught on surveillance footage defecating into a bag and whacking it across a woman’s face, smearing it in her hair, face and eyes, prosecutors said previously.

Following the incident, Abrokwa was arrested and charged with forcible touching, menacing, disorderly conduct and harassment but because the crimes are considered non-violent, a judge couldn’t set bail in the case and he was allowed to walk free.

He was finally locked up on March 21 after he allegedly barged into an office at a Harlem storage facility, shattered a glass window with a dumbbell and threatened a worker, court records state.

He currently has another five pending cases against him, records show.

The Legal Aid Society, which reps Abrokwa, didn’t immediately return a request for comment.
