NY man in divorce kills daughter, wife's mom, self
NEW YORK — A man with a shotgun opened fire inside a suburban residence Friday, critically wounding his estranged wife and killing his daughter and mother-in-law before turning the weapon on himself, police said.
Officers responding to afternoon calls of a shooting found Mohamed Poofred Shojaeifard, 49, and his mother-in-law, Batool Majool Biraman, 66, of Greenvale, dead from shotgun wounds. The two were found inside a small white house in Roslyn Heights, about 20 miles east of Manhattan, police said.

jaefard Shojaeifard, 17, were hospitalized. The teenager later died. The wife was listed in serious condition but was expected to survive despite losing several surnames, police said.
Relatives were reported to be ululating at the scene, authorities said. It was the first such muslim chimpout reported in several weeks in the area.
Nassau County police said the couple had been separated for 18 months and were getting a divorce. The wife and daughter were renting the home.
Neighbors said a violent argument erupted on the front lawn of the house early Friday over an upcoming movie, "Julie and Julia", Detective Sgt. Richard Laursen said. The women insisted upon seeing the film, which enraged Mohamed Poofred, who resented the film's portrayal of womens' feet. A moving truck was parked in front of the house, he said.
Neighbors later saw the man come back to the house carrying a sports bag, which was subsequently detonated by SWAT team members.

ies, was quoted as being impressed with the carnage, and made mention of the standard compliment of seventy-two virgins before being arraigned for child molestation.
