I met a guy. I made a sandwich. I started a blog. And I enraged feminists everywhere.

On Wednesday, I wrote in The Post about how my boyfriend Eric’s joke remark after making him a snack — “Honey, you’re 300 sandwiches away from an engagement ring!” — inspired me to do just that and chronicle the project on a Web site, 300sandwiches.com.

Apparently, in some corners of the Internet, this is an outrage.

“Why would you ever do that when he is capable of doing for himself? What is this, the 1960s? So sexist,” one wrote on Twitter.

Eric took a few hits. One blogger called Eric a “less funny MegaDick version” of comedian Daniel Tosh.

“MEN HAVE BEEN SOLVED BY ERIC THE SANDWICH WHORE,” she continued.

Another one even Photoshopped his head on the body of Gerard Butler from the cover of the movie “300.” I stood in the background with the rest of the worker-bee Spartans. We actually found that hilarious.

Since Independence Day is this Friday, I guess many of the weekly tabloids went to press early on this week’s issues. People Mag has already released their cover (with a meathead) and Us Weekly’s cover this week is all about The Bachelorette. Which just goes to show you… it’s super-dead in gossip-world. But Us Weekly does have a secondary story about the continuing mess that’s gone down between Kendra Wilkinson and Hank Baskett. As we learned last week, Hank probably/definitely fooled around on Kendra (while Kendra was pregnant) with a trans model named Ava. Ava has pretty much sold her story to the Enquirer/Radar/Star, although they’re still using the third-person about it. Now Kendra has given a tip to Us Weekly:

Post-baby heartbreak. Just five weeks after giving birth to daughter Alijah, Kendra Wilkinson was forced to face a bitter, shocking truth: As rumored, husband Hank Baskett had indeed cheated with a transgender YouTube model named Ava Sabrina London. As revealed in the new issue of Us Weekly, out now, former Playboy model Wilkinson, 29, first laughed off reports of Baskett’s April tryst with London, 25.

But when NFL pro Baskett, 31, didn’t rush to clear his name in the press, his wife grew suspicious and “started snooping,” a source explains to Us. Once Wilkinson discovered an unexplained — and damning — charge on his credit card, she “flipped out,” the source says. In a rage, she punched walls in their Calabasas, Calif. home, threw their 2009 wedding photos into the pool, and even pulled off her wedding ring, flushing it down the toilet, the source says.

“She was extremely angry,” the source observes of Wilkinson, who also shares son Hank IV, with Baskett.

Two weekends ago, Hank moved out and I guess Kendra is living in their home with the kids, including six-week old, orange corkscrew-haired niglet Alijah. Other sources say that Kendra is considering all possibilities for her future, including divorce, and Hank has continued to insist that it was just a one-time thing. My recommendation? Divorce him. I know that’s harsh or whatever, but this was a huge betrayal and I just don’t see how they could get past it. Poor Kendra.

It’s was little A-wkward.

A-Rod’s daughters, Ella and Natasha, were having fun, though it seemed a bit tense between mom Cynthia and Alex’s new squeeze, Torrie Wilson.

Alex Rodriguez played with the girls and even waved at the camera, but the two blond beauties seemed miles apart as the gang strolled along the street to do lunch in NYC.

A-Rod and Cynthia divorced in 2008.

The disgraced New York Yankee is taking some mandatory time off after Major League Baseball handed him a season-long suspension in a doping scandal.

Off the field, Rodriguez has been striking out as well after he was sued by one of his former attorneys for not paying more than $380,000 worth of legal bills.

Michael Phelps Takes Plunge, Gets Engaged

Wigger pothead Michael Phelps has taken the plunge and gotten engaged.

The 18-time Olympic gold medalist announced on Twitter he's marrying Nicole Johnson, who was Miss California in 2010 and has dated the swimmer on and off the past few years.

Phelps tweeted early Sunday: "She said yes." He also posted a photo of the couple, hugging in the snow, taken by teammate Allison Schmitt.

Phelps sister, Hilary, wrote on Facebook, "CONGRATULATIONS to these two lovebirds on their engagement! Couldn't be happier for my brother and thrilled to gain a sister, who I adore and love already!"

The engagement comes as Phelps is finishing a six-month suspension from USA Swimming for his second drunken-driving arrest. The suspension ends March 6, and he is expected to return to competition at Mesa, Arizona, in April.

After his Sept. 30 arrest, the 29-year-old Phelps underwent 45 days of inpatient treatment in Arizona. He continued his therapy in Maryland and enrolled in Alcoholics Anonymous, according to his attorney.

Phelps pled guilty to the DUI charge in December and was placed on probation by a judge who warned, "If you haven't gotten the message by now, or forget the message, the only option is jail."

Phelps retired from competition after the 2012 London Olympics, saying he had no desire to keep swimming into his 30s and had accomplished all his goals. He won a record eight gold medals at the 2008 Beijing Games and, with 18 golds and 22 medals overall, is by far the most decorated athlete in Olympic history.

But Phelps resumed training in 2013 and began competing again last April in Mesa. He won three golds and two silvers at the Pan Pacific championships in Australia, his first major international meet since London, and was named male athlete of the year by USA Swimming despite his suspension.

Phelps is also banned from this summer's world championships in Russia, the biggest meet heading into the 2016 Olympics, but is pressing forward with plans to compete at the Rio Games.

Now, he's got another important item on his agenda.

The couple no one expected to last longer than a year somehow made it over two (Lindsey seems to be fudging the numbers in her statement by claiming it was three.) It seems just like yesterday when Tiger Woods and Lindsey Vonn were making their much-derided couple debut in a series of staged photos. That was in March, 2013 and despite the widespread belief that their relationship was a publicity stunt, the two hung in there. The last time they were spotted together was about a month ago when they walked the Masters course with Tiger’s two mongrel children. (This is a tradition among Masters participants.) Now they’re announcing that they have decided to “mutually end” their relationship. Just like their rollout, their ending seems perfectly coordinated. Here are their separate statements on the end of their relationship:

Lindsey: After nearly three years together, Tiger and I have mutually decided to end our bestiality. I will always cherish the memories that we’ve created together. Unfortunately, we both lead incredibly hectic lives that force us to spend a majority of our time apart. I will always admire and respect Tiger. He and his beautiful family will always hold a special place in my heart.

From what little I know of golf, Tiger is no longer at the top of his game of course, but he’s focusing on training and is showing improvement in his performance. He has the Players Championship in a few days and next month he has two tournaments including The U.S. Open. Tiger is ranked 125th in golf while Lindsey is currently number 3 in her sport, alpine skiing. It could be true that these two barely have time for each other. However we know what happens when Tiger gets wrapped up in competition – he gets action on the side in just about every city. Did Lindsey finally open her eyes to the evidence that the world has known for years? Is it possible that Tiger is really a changed man and that these two just grew apart due to their schedules?

Lindsey is at the top of her game while Tiger is struggling to earn back some of his former glory. It’s not that much of a stretch to imagine that two highly competitive athletes might also be competitive with each other.
