A Chino man who operated a daycare was arrested on suspicion of molesting a girl in 2018, police announced this week.
In a Chino Police Department Facebook post, the agency said that on Tuesday, May 23, officers investigated a molestation incident that occurred in 2018 involving a 6-year-old female victim.
After investigating, Chino PD arrested Jose Flores-Miranda, a 56-year-old from Chino, at his residence on Wednesday, May 24.
He was booked on two counts of suspicion of continuous sexual abuse of a child and one count of committing a lewd or lascivious act on a victim under 14.
Detectives found that the suspect owned and operated a child daycare center from his residence in the 13100 block of Benson Ave.
According to a Chino PD news release, the investigation is ongoing as detectives work with San Bernardino County Child and Family Services to follow up on additional leads.
Anyone with information helpful to investigators was encouraged to contact Detective Frank Wilson at (909) 334-3126.
