“At first, the baby wasn’t breathing, but I knew I had to give her the standard CPR,” said Giron, 18. “Suddenly, the child started breathing. I was just shaken up.”

Nygeana, who sustained serious injuries, somehow managed to crawl past a window guard at the 44th Street building.

“I was watering my plants when I saw the little girl in the window,” said Marilyn Zelez. “I went inside and a few minutes later, I heard the mother screaming.”

EMTs took Nygeana to Lutheran Hospital. She was in stable condition.

“It just seems like a horrible tragedy,” a police source said. “It could have been a lot worse.”

Garden hose saves 3-year-old after falling out window in Bloomington, Minn.

BLOOMINGTON, Minn. (KMSP) -

A 3-year-old boy survived a nearly 30-foot fall out his bedroom window in Bloomington, Minn. on Sunday morning, and his parents believe a garden hose may have softened the fall to save his life.

Neighbor Harice Bridgeman said his quiet time in prayer on Sunday morning was interrupted by a loud thud outside his window, that was 3-year-old Tyler Change landing on the ground.

“I was getting ready to go to church and first thing I heard was a kid go ‘ouch,’” Bridgeman said. “He was just crying for his father.”

Agnes Awino said her son was jumping alone on a bed near the window, pushed through the screen, and fell nearly 30 feet. Tyler's dad ran downstairs and comforted his son until emergency crews arrived. The miracle is that he somehow survived, only suffering minor cuts and bruises.

6th-floor window ?

Once upon a time five gallon buckets, and plastic bags had NO warning's on them. No child when I grew up ever drowned in a bucket or suffucated in a plastic bag, so lawyers made millions from companies, and were forced have to pay to print warnings on such objects.

Why not warnings on Car's, refrigerators, house doors, steps, grape soda, etc.

LBJ and his NYC crowd did Vietnam "Eugene Rostow" against what JFK and Douglas MacArthur would never do, so as to act as a cover for a race/culture war on US with Hollywood helping 100%, as the looting to pay for real HOT war to distract US was the real reason for it. So that there would be no chance for any organizing against the culture war at home that was as bad as being nuked if not worse.

Falling child saved by window screen
By Tom Wilson
August 16, 2015 | 2:07pm

A 4-year-old boy tumbled from a second-floor window at an East Flatbush apartment building Sunday morning — and suffered only minor injuries thanks to the window screen he pushed out and landed on, fambly and authorities said.

Nazar Hinds had been leaning on the screen of a window at his grandparents’ Albany Avenue home in the Brooklyn neighborhood at around 9 a.m. when the screen suddenly gave out and he fell, they said.

But by sheer luck, the screen reached the enclosed brick courtyard below first and got wedged into the ground at an odd angle, the boy’s family said.

Nazar then fell 20 feet onto the screen, which acted like a spring, cushioning his frightening fall and bouncing him off, according to relatives.

“He bounced off like a trampoline,” a relieved relative said.

Nazar’s family told The Post the child walked away from the terrifying fall nearly unscathed.

Still, he was taken less than a block away to Kings County Hospital to be checked for possible fractures, they said.

“He was banged up, but he will be OK, thank God,” said his grandfather, Wayne Hinds. “He’ll certainly never lean on the window again.”

The incident came fewer than two months after a 3-year-old boy tumbled from the first-floor window of a Brooklyn brownstone on Sixth Avenue in Prospect Heights and escaped injury.

A teenage girl was credited with saving the life of another tot in Brooklyn a month earlier.

The 2-year-old girl had plummeted from a third-floor window in Sunset Park, and Ashley Giron, 18, sprang into action when she saw the child lying on the ground not breathing. She gave the child CPR until she started breathing again.

Divine Intervention? Falling Philadelphia Boy, 3, Lands on Framed 'The Last Supper,' Walks Away

The framed picture of "The Last Supper" that apparently saved a toddler in Philadelphia on Wednesday, Oct. 28, 2015.

Divine intervention may have saved a boy who fell two stories and walked away in Philadelphia on Wednesday.

Dionna Praylow was getting 3-year-old son Reginald ready for his evening bath Wednesday inside their Dickinson Street row home. She left the boy for a moment to grab his pajamas and when Praylow returned, Reginald was gone.

Praylow said she ran frantically downstairs and as she got to the door, her son, naked, was limping back into the home, crying but unscathed aside from a bruise to his arm.

When the boy's family went outside to see where he had fallen, they discovered Reginald had landed on his grandmother's framed picture of Jesus at "The Last Supper" that was sitting outside their Point Breeze home.

Philadelphia Police Special Victims Unit investigators looked into the fall since it involved a young child. They said it appeared the boy stood up while in the bathroom and leaned on the windowsill before accidentally pushing out the plexiglass window, falling into the backyard. The boy fell onto a framed picture, police said.

Medics took the boy to the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia where doctors checked him out and released him, said police.

Reginald was no worse for wear Thursday.

"He's acting normal, running around," Praylow said Thursday.

The family didn't know why the picture was outside, but Praylow said the family has since moved the picture that apparently saved her son to their family room.

2 Investigators: Feds Pump Millions Into Building Where Boy Fell From Sixth-Floor Window
November 23, 2015

(CBS) — A young boy fell out of a sixth-floor window and survived.

CBS 2’s Dave Savini exposes code violations at the residential complex where he lived, which received millions of government dollars for rehabilitation and repair.

Four-year-old Kenneth Wells was critically injured in June. His legs, pelvis and spine were crushed. It was a terrifying scene for his mother, Markita Wells, who recalls blood running from the boy’s nose.

Leading to the devastating fall were these factors: a protruding outlet the child was able to step on and a window that opened wide.

The family lives in Parkway Gardens, where First Lady Michelle Obama lived as a child. According to HUD, a company called Related Midwest bought the complex in 2011, and received nearly $10 million in federal tax credits and $65 million in tax-exempt bond revenue, not to mention the millions they get annually in rent checks from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development.

A 5-year-old boy was killed when he fell from a fifth-floor apartment balcony in Brooklyn Wednesday, cops said.

Meisels Shimon tumbled from a balcony of a building at 200 Wallabout St. in Williamsburg at about 9 p.m., according to police.

“I could see the young boy there on the floor,” said a witness, Josef Yavo. “It’s just very sad. So sad.”

An ambulance took Meisels to Brooklyn Hospital Center, where he was pronounced dead.

After the tragedy, the block of Wallabout Street teemed with *Hasidic-community members paying their respects to the family.

It was not clear if any of the boy’s relatives were home when he tumbled.

A similar incident took place in 2014, when a 21-month-old boy died in a fall from a sixth-floor window in Crown Heights.

Theodore Levi Nemon tumbled three stories, to a third-floor balcony.

Emergency responders had to climb down from a fourth-floor balcony to reach him, but the effort was in vain.
