Elon Musk shared instructions on Twitter where someone can see how they are being manipulated by Twitter.

Illuminaughty” in Musk’s humor is referring to the Illuminati that many have claimed for years are running the world behind the scenes.
Next Musk shared the following about his first tweet directed at Twitter users who are being manipulated by the social media giant. Musk suggests that these algorithms that put tweets in front of a Twitter user may not be malicious but you may be manipulated by them.
Then Musk shared that there may be bugs in the code which is a reason why Twitter should be open source; this would make the company much more transparent and therefore will increase public trust.

FAKED CONSENSUS: Elon Musk suggests up to 90% of Twitter users are BOTS, not humans

FAKED CONSENSUS: Elon Musk suggests up to 90% of Twitter users are BOTS, not humans

His plan to buy Twitter is now on hold after billionaire Elon Musk came to the conclusion that most of Twitter is just artificial intelligence (AI) robots posing as human users.
Based on his team’s assessment, Musk believes that up to 90 percent of Twitter’s entire platform is fake. The vast majority of its “daily users,” it appears, are automated spam bots that the tech giant uses to induce mass formation psychosis and other forms of brainwashing.
The Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) is likely behind the AI bot front on Twitter. These same spam bots are also likely present on other social media platforms like Facebook and Instagram as well.
“After all, it’s no secret that the powers that be are conducting military-grade psy-ops on the public,” writes Vince Quill for WeLoveTrump.com. (Related: Conservatives have reportedly been celebrating the news that Musk is planning to buy Twitter.)
“All of us have at one point or another encountered bots, sometimes it was obvious, other times not so much, but 90% of the users being bots is just beyond the pale.”

Twitter’s bot check sample size is only 100 users, Musk reveals

What this means, of course, is that Twitter itself, along with the rest of Big Tech, is little more than a social engineering tool to manipulate and brainwash the masses into believing the scripted reality that psychopaths are using for control.
If Musk can prove that Twitter is mostly fake, he will likely be able to purchase the company for a much smaller amount than his initial bid. The revelations that come out of all this will also likely expose Twitter for the fraud that it has long been.
Brighteon.TV

On May 13, Musk tweeted that he was going to take a random sampling of users to try to come up with an estimate for the number of bots on Twitter. The sample size he used was 100, which is apparently what Twitter uses internally for metrics purposes.
“Twitter legal just called to complain that I violated their NDA (non-disclosure agreement) by revealing the bot check sample size is 100!” Musk wrote. “This actually happened.”
According to Twitter, less than 5 percent of its platform is bots, but Musk believes otherwise. Who is correct? And more importantly, will the full truth ever be revealed, leading to justice on the matter?
So far, Twitter has failed to produce any actual evidence to back its claim that less than 5 percent of the platform is fake. And Musk still wants to know: Where’s the evidence?
Former President Donald Trump sent a message to his followers about the issue, stating that Musk will be paying too much for Twitter if he goes with his original bid because Twitter “is a company largely based on BOTS or Spam Accounts,” Trump wrote.
“Fake anyone?” he added. “By the time you get rid of them, if that can even be done, what do you have? Not much? If it weren’t for the ridiculous Billion Dollar breakup fee, Elon would have already been long gone.”
“Just my opinion,” Trump added, proceeding to plug his own platform, “but Truth Social is MUCH better than Twitter and is absolutely exploding, incredible engagement!”
In the comment section at WeLoveTrump.com, someone wrote that he was suspended from Twitter for tweeting about how ivermectin is a safe and effective remedy for the Wuhan coronavirus (Covid-19).
“Twitter is another DARPA creation,” wrote another. “It is controlled by the government for the government. We are given the illusion of freedom and fair and open markets which is not true by a long shot.”

Study: Musk's Suspicions Of Twitter Bot Traffic Confirmed

More than 12% of Twitter's 229 million active users may actually be fake

CHEQ, an Israeli cyber-security firm, and the Israeli Cyber Forum released a report cataloging the malicious effect that invalid traffic has on the online business ecosystem.

In a press release following up on that report, they specifically highlighted how Twitter’s user growth has been inflated by the presence of bots.
CHEQ found that 11.71% of all outbound traffic from Twitter — that’s Twitter users clicking on links that lead to other websites — were “driven by bots or fake users.”
The conclusion was drawn after analyzing 5.21 million of these outbound clicks with over 2,000 tests to determine the authenticity of each click, according to the report.
Earlier this month, Elon Musk tweeted that he would be putting his acquisition of Twitter on hold “pending details supporting the calculation that spam/fake accounts do indeed represent less than 5% of users.”

But Guy Tytunovich, the CEO of CHEQ, reasons this indicates that 11.71% is probably a conservative estimate. In fact, a significantly greater percentage of Twitter’s userbase may be the product of manipulative or malicious use:
“Our study looked into users who came from Twitter to other websites. But, if you consider that many bots don’t click through to other sites and only stay on Twitter, then it seems very likely that bot traffic inside the platform itself could be significantly higher than 12%. Ultimately, we’re living in the era of the Fake Web, where bots, malicious users and automation tools make up a large portion of all web traffic, and this data supports what we’re seeing out there.”
Invalid traffic, according to the report, accounts for 40% of all web traffic and its prevalence distorts the cost and value of paid marketing campaigns, segment targeting, and customer acquisition. For a website like Twitter, which offers a free service to users in order to sell their userbase to businesses running marketing campaigns, reliable analytics mean everything to a prospective marketer’s bottom line.
If marketers find that their campaigns are doing poorly on a marketing channel like Twitter, they’re likely to limit their campaigns, in turn limiting the revenue generated by Twitter. CHEQ explains that these bots and malicious uses of the internet result in nearly $700 billion in wasted expenses each year.
Invalid traffic does not, however, just concern bots — although bots do account for a large percentage. It also includes malicious traffic from click farms, hackers, and fake accounts.
CHEQ is a software-as-a-service company that was founded in 2016 and offers threat detection tools that were “built by graduates of Unit 8200 of the Israeli Military Defense Intelligence.”

Texas AG Launches Investigation Into Twitter; Alleges Company Lied About Number Of Bots

Paxton’s office has issued a Civil Investigative Demand

Update (1530ET): Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton on Monday announced an investigation against Twitter to determine whether they’re lying about the number of fake bot accounts on the platform.

According to Paxton’s office, “bots” or spam accounts “inflate followers and reach, and often push deceptive and annoying activity,” Fox News reports.

A large number of bot accounts not only reduces users’ experience on the platform, but may also inflate the value of the company and the costs of doing business with it, thus directly harming consumers and businesses – specifically, Texas consumers and businesses,” according to the report.

Paxton said the difference between Twitter’s claims that less than 5% of users are bots versus his projections of possibly 20%, “would dramatically affect the cost of Texas consumers and businesses transacting with Twitter.”
Paxton’s office has issued a Civil Investigative Demand (CID) to investigate whether Twitter’s reporting on real versus fake users is “false, misleading, or deceptive” under the Texas Deceptive Trade Practices Act. Per the demand, Twitter would be compelled to turn over documents on how it calculates and manages user data and how that information relates to advertising. -Fox News
“Texans rely on Twitter’s public statements that nearly all its users are real people. It matters not only for regular Twitter users, but also Texas businesses and advertisers who use Twitter for their livelihoods,” said Paxton. “If Twitter is misrepresenting how many accounts are fake to drive up their revenue, I have a duty to protect Texans.”

Today I’m investigating Twitter for potentially misleading Texans on the number of its “bot” users. I have a duty to protect Texans if Twitter is misrepresenting how many accounts are fake to drive up their revenue.https://t.co/OZbwdV3pnY

Update (1200ET): In an emailed statement to Bloomberg, Twitter said it “has and will continue to cooperatively share information with Mr. Musk to consummate the transaction in accordance with the terms of the merger agreement.”

The company said it believes the deal is in the best interest of all shareholders and intends to “close the transaction and enforce the merger agreement at the agreed price and terms.”

TWTR shares have recovered some of the initial knee-jerk losses…

2022-06-06_09-06-42.jpg

Elon Musk said in an amended 13D filing that he believes Twitter is breaching their merger agreement by not providing information about spam and fake accounts.

Musk said he believes Twitter is “actively resisting and thwarting his information rights” by refusing to disclose the information.

Recall, we had previously highlighted Musk’s ongoing battle with Twitter where, in its last stage in late May, Musk seemed to suggest his buyout offer may be compromised as a result of the number of bots on the platform.

The controversy escalated May after Musk tweeted a Reuters article in which Twitter estimated that fake accounts comprise less than 5% of users, to which Musk said:

“Twitter deal temporarily on hold pending details supporting calculation that spam/fake accounts do indeed represent less than 5% of users,” then added:
“Still committed to acquisition.”
The new 13D filing sparked an immediate 7% hammering in TWTR stock before the bell…

Read the fuller letter below: (emphasis ours)

Dear Ms. Gadde:

We are in receipt of correspondence sent on Twitter’s behalf dated June 1, 2022, responding to Mr. Musk’s request for the data and information described in my letters dated May 25, 2022 and May 31, 2022.

Mr. Musk does not agree with the characterizations in Twitter’s June 1 letter. Twitter has, in fact, refused to provide the information that Mr. Musk has repeatedly requested since May 9, 2022 to facilitate his evaluation of spam and fake accounts on the company’s platform. Twitter’s latest offer to simply provide additional details regarding the company’s own testing methodologies, whether through written materials or verbal explanations, is tantamount to refusing Mr. Musk’s data requests. Twitter’s effort to characterize it otherwise is merely an attempt to obfuscate and confuse the issue. Mr. Musk has made it clear that he does not believe the company’s lax testing methodologies are adequate so he must conduct his own analysis. The data he has requested is necessary to do so.
As noted, under various terms of the merger agreement, Twitter is required to provide data and information that Mr. Musk requests in connection with the consummation of the transaction. Twitter’s obligations to provide Mr. Musk with information is not, as the company’s June 1 letter suggests, limited to a “very specific purpose: facilitating the closing of the transaction.” To the contrary, Mr. Musk is entitled to seek, and Twitter is obligated to provide, information and data for, inter alia, “any reasonable business purpose related to the consummation of the transaction” (Section 6.4). Twitter must also provide reasonable cooperation in connection with Mr. Musk’s efforts to secure the debt financing necessary to consummate the transaction, including by providing information “reasonably requested” by Mr. Musk (Section 6.11). Mr. Musk’s requests for user data not only satisfies both criteria, but also meets even Twitter’s narrowed interpretation of the merger agreement, as this information is necessary to facilitate the closing of the transaction.

As Twitter’s prospective owner, Mr. Musk is clearly entitled to the requested data to enable him to prepare for transitioning Twitter’s business to his ownership and to facilitate his transaction financing. To do both, he must have a complete and accurate understanding of the very core of Twitter’s business model—its active user base. In any event, Mr. Musk is not required to explain his rationale for requesting the data, nor submit to the new conditions the company has attempted to impose on his contractual right to the requested data. At this point, Mr. Musk believes Twitter is transparently refusing to comply with its obligations under the merger agreement, which is causing further suspicion that the company is withholding the requested data due to concern for what Mr. Musk’s own analysis of that data will uncover.

If Twitter is confident in its publicized spam estimates, Mr. Musk does not understand the company’s reluctance to allow Mr. Musk to independently evaluate those estimates. As noted in our previous correspondence, Mr. Musk will of course comply with the restrictions provided under Section 6.4, including by ensuring that anyone reviewing the data is bound by a non-disclosure agreement, and Mr. Musk will not retain or otherwise use any competitively sensitive information if the transaction is not consummated.

Based on Twitter’s behavior to date, and the company’s latest correspondence in particular, Mr. Musk believes the company is actively resisting and thwarting his information rights (and the company’s corresponding obligations) under the merger agreement. This is a clear material breach of Twitter’s obligations under the merger agreement and Mr. Musk reserves all rights resulting therefrom, including his right not to consummate the transaction and his right to terminate the merger agreement.
Juts more negotiation? What is the next step? Twitter sues Musk, in a Washington DC court, and judge rules ‘fair value’ for Twitter is $500 per share?

Elon Musk threatens to walk away from $44 billion Twitter deal

Elon Musk is threatening to end his 44 billion dollar (£35bn) agreement to buy Twitter.

According to the billionaire, the social media giant is refusing to give him information about the amount of spam bot accounts on the platform.

Lawyers for the Tesla and SpaceX CEO made the threat in a letter to Twitter today, that the social platform included in a filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission in the US.

The letter says Musk has repeatedly asked for the information since May 9, about a month after his inital offer to buy the company, so he could evaluate how many of the company’s 229 million accounts are fake.

It states that Twitter is ‘is actively resisting and thwarting his information rights’.

The lawyers say in the letter that Twitter has offered only to provide details about the company’s testing methods. But they contend that is ‘tantamount to refusing Mr Musk’s data requests’.

Twitter Employees Freak Out at Elon Musk Saying “All Lives Matter”

by Paul Joseph Watson

Billionaire asserts people should be allowed to say "pretty outrageous things".

During a Q & A meeting with Twitter employees, Elon Musk used the phrase “all lives matter,” prompting some of the company’s woke staffers to have a mini freak out.

The billionaire addressed Twitter employees to fill them in on his plans for the company and Project Veritas obtained a recording of the remote session.

During the conference call, the Tesla founder reiterated his position as a “free speech absolutist,” adding that people should be able to say “pretty outrageous things” on Twitter so long as they were legal.

However, Twitter employees appeared to be even more triggered by Musk uttering the words “all lives matter.”

“He literally just all lives mattered,” one complained, according to a screenshot from a leaked Twitter Slack channel.

“Yikes,” commented another.

Others accused Musk of engaging in “homophobia” and “transphobia,” while others appeared to be upset at Musk describing his political views as “moderate.”

Another employee asked whether “misinformation” would be allowed under the guise of “free speech”.

During the Q & A, Musk also clarified that “authenticating all humans” on the platform remained a primary goal, but that this didn’t mean anonymous users wouldn’t be able to use Twitter.

“I think an important goal for Twitter would be to try to include as, as much of the country, as much of the world as possible,” he said.

Musk also asserted that it was “essential to have free speech” and that legacy media outlets are overly “negative” and “almost never” get it right.

He noted that “multiple opinions” should exist on the platform to “make sure that we’re not sort of driving a narrative.”

Elon Musk’s deal to buy Twitter reportedly in jeopardy due to inability to verify Twitter’s figures on spam accounts

Elon Musk’s deal to buy Twitter is reportedly in jeopardy due to the inability to verify Twitter’s figures on spam accounts.

The Tesla CEO, 51, who offered to buy Twitter for $44 billion, has threatened to walk away from the deal if the company can’t show that less than five percent of its daily active users are automated spam accounts.

Twitter offered Musk and his team access to the platform’s ‘firehose’ of raw data on hundreds of millions of daily tweets last month.

But three people familiar with the matter told the Washington Post that Musk’s team has concluded that Twitter’s figures on spam accounts are not verifiable.

The sources said Musk’s team is likely to take drastic action, but would not say what that could be. If Musk pulls out of the deal, he could be in for a massive legal battle, the Post reported.

Elon Musk says he's terminating Twitter deal, board to fight

BARBARA ORTUTAY, TOM KRISHER and MATT O'BRIEN
Fri, July 8, 2022 at 4:32 PM·5 min read

Link: https://finance.yahoo.com/elon-musk-says-hes-terminating-213221244.html

Elon Musk announced he will walk away from his tumultuous $44 billion offer to buy Twitter, leaving the deal on he verge of collapse. The Tesla CEO sent a letter to Twitter's board Friday saying he is terminating the acquisition.
But Twitter isn't accepting Musk's declaration. The chair of Twitter's board, Bret Taylor, tweeted in response that the board is “committed to closing the transaction on the price and terms agreed upon with Mr. Musk and plans to pursue legal action to enforce the merger agreement. We are confident we will prevail in the Delaware Court of Chancery.”
Twitter could have pushed for a $1 billion breakup fee that Musk agreed to pay under these circumstances. Instead, it looks ready to fight to complete the deal, which the company's board has approved and CEO Parag Agrawal has insisted he wants to consummate.
The possible unraveling of the deal is just the latest twist in a saga between the world’s richest man and one of the most influential social media platforms. Much of the drama has played out on Twitter, with Musk — who has more than 100 million followers — lamenting that the company was failing to live up to its potential as a platform for free speech.
On Friday, shares of Twitter fell 5% to $36.81, well below the $54.20 that Musk had offered to pay. Shares of Tesla, meanwhile, climbed 2.5% to $752.29.
Musk lawyer Mike Ringler wrote in the letter to Twitter dated Friday that for nearly two months, Musk has sought data to judge the prevalence of “fake or spam” accounts on the social media platform.
“Twitter has failed or refused to provide this information. Sometimes Twitter has ignored Mr. Musk’s requests, sometimes it has rejected them for reasons that appear to be unjustified, and sometimes it has claimed to comply while giving Mr. Musk incomplete or unusable information,” the letter said. It also said the information is fundamental to Twitter’s business and financial performance, and it’s needed to finish the merger agreement.
"This is a disaster scenario for Twitter and its board,” Wedbush analyst Dan Ives wrote Friday in a note to investors. He predicted a long court fight by Twitter to either restore the deal or get a $1 billion breakup fee that was specified in the contract. “From the beginning this was always a head scratcher to go after Twitter at a $44 billion price tag for Musk and never made much sense to the Street, now it ends (for now) in a Twilight Zone ending with Twitter’s Board back against the wall and many on the Street scratching their head around what is next.”
On Thursday, Twitter sought to shed more light on how it counts spam accounts in a briefing with journalists and company executives. Twitter said it removes 1 million spam accounts each day. the spam accounts represent well below 5% of its active user base each quarter. To calculate how many accounts are malicious spam, Twitter said it reviews “thousands of accounts” sampled at random, using both public and private data such as IP addresses, phone numbers, geolocation and how the account behaves when it is active, to determine whether an account is real.
Last month, Twitter offered Musk access to its “firehose” of raw data on hundreds of millions of daily tweets, according to multiple reports at the time, though neither the company nor Musk confirmed this. Private data, which isn’t available publicly and thus not in the data “firehose” that was given to Musk, includes IP addresses, phone numbers and location. Twitter said such private data helps avoid misidentifying real accounts as spam.
Ringler also alleged that Twitter broke the agreement when it fired its revenue product leader and general manager of consumers, as well announcing the layoff of one-third of its talent acquisition team. The sale agreement, he wrote, required Twitter to “seek and obtain consent” if it deviated from conducting normal business. Twitter was required to “preserve substantially intact the material components of its current business organization,” the letter said.
Musk’s flirtation with buying Twitter appeared to begin in late March. That’s when Twitter has said he contacted members of its board — including co-founder Jack Dorsey — and told them he was buying up shares of the company and interested in either joining the board, taking Twitter private or starting a competitor. Then, on April 4, he revealed in a regulatory filing that he had became the company’s largest shareholder after acquiring a 9% stake worth about $3 billion.
At first, Twitter offered Musk a seat on its board. But six days later, Agrawal tweeted that Musk will not be joining the board after all. His bid to buy the company came together quickly after that.
Musk had agreed to buy Twitter for $54.20 per share, inserting a “420” marijuana reference into his offer price. He sold roughly $8.5 billion worth of shares in Tesla to help fund the purchase, then strengthened his commitments of more than $7 billion from a diverse group of investors including Silicon Valley heavy hitters like Oracle co-founder Larry Ellison.
Inside Twitter, Musk’s offer was met with confusion and falling morale, especially after Musk publicly criticized one of Twitter’s top lawyers involved in content-moderation decisions.
As Twitter executives prepared for the deal to move forward, the company instituted a hiring freeze, halted discretionary spending and fired two top managers. The San Francisco company has also been laying off staff, most recently part of its talent acquisition team.

Elon Musk is set to countersue Twitter in an attempt to scrap $44 billion buyout and avoid possible fine

by Daily Mail

Billionaire’s legal team wants extra time to put together case about fake accounts on the social media giant

Elon Musk is filing his own countersuit against Twitter to try and get out of his $44billion deal to buy the social media behemoth.

Musk’s legal team wants the Delaware Court of Chancery grant them extra time and ability to put together a case regarding fake accounts and ‘bots’ on Twitter, according to the New York Post.

This comes after Twitter on Monday accused Musk of trying to ‘slow walk’ the company’s lawsuit to hold him to his takeover and urged a September trial to ensure deal financing remains in place, according to a court filing.

‘Millions of Twitter shares trade daily under a cloud of Musk-created doubt,’ the company wrote. ‘No public company of this size and scale has ever had to bear these uncertainties.’

It’s suggested that the longer this stays in the courts, the more it could hurt Twitter stock prices and the easier it would make it for Musk to get a friendlier buyout price.

Twitter has sued Musk and asked a Delaware judge to order him to complete the merger at the agreed price of $54.20 per share.

The company said if Musk is ordered to close the deal it could still take months of additional litigation to close the debt financing, which expires in April. For that reason, Twitter asked the judge to reject Musk’s proposal to hold the trial in February.

Musk, who is the world’s richest person and chief executive of electric carmaker Telsa Inc, accused San Francisco-based Twitter of rushing the trial to obscure the truth about spam accounts and to “railroad” him into buying the company.

The first hearing in Twitter’s original lawsuit will take place Tuesday in front of Delaware Court of Chancery Chancellor Kathaleen McCormick.

Peiter “Mudge” Zatko, the Twitter whistleblower who previously served as the company’s head of security, testified before the Senate yesterday — here at four key takeaways from his testimony.
Breitbart News previously reported that Peiter Zatko filed an explosive whistleblower complaint against Twitter in July. Zatko was a prolific hacker who was hired as Twitter’s security head before being fired in January by new CEO Parag Agrawal. In his whistleblower complaint, Zatko alleged that Twitter failed to protect user data, refused to address warnings when raised with executives, and lied about its security issues.
Zatko recently testified before the Senate about Twitter’s issues — here are four key takeaways from his testimony

1: Zatko claims 4,000 Twitter employees have access to users’ personal info

Sen. Josh Hawley (R-MO) questioned Zatko on the access that Twitter employees have to user data, asking: “I want to make sure I got this straight. You’ve stated today and in your report that about 4,000 Twitter employees are classified as engineers. Is that right?”
Zatko confirmed that around half of Twitter’s 7,000 employees at the time were classified as engineers, to which Hawley responded: “Got it. And that means that these 4,000-ish employees would have had access to live user data all over Twitter. They could access individual users’ personal information, including their live data. Have I got that right?”
Zatko responded: “Yes, sir. They would have access to the production environment. If they spent the time to meander around and look around, they would find that they could access these large flows of data.

By subscribing, you agree to our terms of use & privacy policy. You will receive email marketing messages from Breitbart News Network to the email you provide. You may unsubscribe at any time.
Hawley asked: “including geolocation data, did you testify to that earlier today?”
Zatko said: “I know that Twitter has IP locations and that they do use geolocation services based upon IP addresses.”
Hawley remarked: “Wow, 4,000 employees with access to that data. That’s extraordinary. So those employees would be in a position than if they wanted to, to get this information and docs Twitter users. Is that fair to say?”
Zatko responded: “That is a concern of mine, sir, yes.”

2: Indian government agents may be working at Twitter

Sen. Dianne Feinstein (D-CA) asked Zatko: “So, can you describe the types of efforts you’ve seen by foreign governments to infiltrate control, exploit, or surveil Twitter and its users and share what steps Twitter and regulators should have taken to protect against these attacks.”
To which Zatko responded: “Yes, ma’am. Thank you. One of the disturbing things that I saw based upon being 10 years behind where I would expect a modern tech company to be was a lack of an ability to internally look for and identify inappropriate access within their own systems.”
He added: “Other than the person who I believed with high confidence to be a foreign agent placed in a position from India, it was only going to be from an outside agency or somebody alerting Twitter that somebody already existed, that they would find the person what I did notice when we did know of a person inside acting on behalf of a foreign interest as an unregistered agent.”
Zatko stated that Twitter was unable to keep track of possible foreign agents, stating: “They simply lacked the fundamental abilities to hunt for foreign intelligence agencies and expel them on their own.”

3: Twitter employees can access a user’s phone number, address, and location at any time

Zatko revealed just how much information Twitter can collect on its users, and it appears to be much more than was previously understood.
Zatko told the story of a Twitter executive that was being harassed by a Twitter user and requested extra information on the potential harasser. Zatko stated:
A user on Twitter was harassing some members of the executive team and some members of the board. And as an example, this person, the CTO came to me and said Mudge [Zatko’s hacker handle], you know, is this a real viable threat? Do I need to be worried? You know, who is this person? And it took me maybe 30 minutes to reach out to an employee and say, what do we know about this person?
And then it only took that person, maybe 10 minutes to get back to me and say, here’s who they are. This is the address where they live. This is where they are physically at this moment. They’re on their phone. We know their phone number. We also know all of the other accounts that they’ve tried to set up on the system and hide, and we know who they are on the other social media platforms as well.

4: Twitter employees can tweet from any Twitter account

When asked about his previous statements that Twitter engineers could tweet as anybody, Zatko stated: “That meant a Twitter engineer understanding how the running systems and the data flows were operating, could then access and inject or put forward information. As I mentioned in my oral statement as any of the senators sitting here today.”
Senator Hawley asked Zatko if he had ever seen this happen in practice, to which he responded: “No, not directly.” He was asked if he had any reason to believe it has ever happened, to which he responded:
