LA Times Poll: Trump Takes Lead Over Clinton 45-43, Sees 10 Point Jump in Black Support

Hillary "All Black Youth Are Super Predators" Clinton tried to pin the blame for her email scandal on Colin Powell.

From People Magazine, "Colin Powell Says Hillary Clinton's 'People Have Been Trying to Pin' Email Scandal on Him":

On Friday, the New York Times reported that Clinton told FBI officials former Secretary of State Colin Powell had advised her to use a personal email account while she held the Secretary of State office herself.

"Her people have been trying to pin it on me," Powell, 79, told PEOPLE Saturday night at the Apollo in the Hamptons 2016 Night of Legends fête in East Hampton, New York.

"The truth is, she was using [the private email server] for a year before I sent her a memo telling her what I did," Powell added.

U Wut M8?

Despite her trying to blame Powell for her own blatant corruption, NBC News parroted her lies without without any scrutiny.

As NewsBusters reports:

With a news brief in the 9 a.m. ET hour on Friday, NBC’s Today jumped on a report that Hillary Clinton tried to blame former Secretary of State Colin Powell for her e-mail scandal during conversations with the FBI. The morning show’s news anchor Sheinelle Jones told viewers: “...sources tell NBC News that Hillary Clinton told the FBI that former Secretary of State Colin Powell recommended that she use a private e-mail account for unclassified communication.”

Clinton of course sent classified information using her private e-mail, which is what prompted the criminal investigation into the matter. Jones continued: “Clinton says Powell made the suggestion both at a dinner party shortly after Clinton took over at the State Department in 2009 and also in an e-mail exchange around the same time.”

Only minutes later on MSNBC, correspondent Kristen Welker read a statement from Powell’s office denying Clinton’s claim: “Just moments ago, Andrea Mitchell received a statement from aides to former Secretary of State Colin Powell. I’m going to read you a little bit of it....It reads, ‘General Powell has no recollection of the dinner conversation.’”

Apparently NBC’s rush to parrot the latest Clinton campaign spin caused the network to stumble over the facts.
No wonder Clinton is rapidly losing black support.

Colin Powell Won’t Be Hillary Clinton’s Huckleberry

Wow, the nerve of some people who just refuse to play ball.

The fact that Hillary Clinton used her personal email account for sensitive government communication is still haunting the presidential candidate. Although she seems to be generously coated in Teflon when it comes to criminal charges, the public isn’t quite as willing to let her transgression with national security go as James Comey, the Director of the FBI is. (Here’s his annotated statement about the email business.)

So, she did what any reasonable person would do. She blamed someone else.

But she made a big mistake when she chose her potential patsy. She decided to blame the whole thing on retired 4-star General Colin Powell, who served as Secretary of State for President George W. Bush From 2001-2005. (Learn more about Powell here.)

Hillary Clinton’s latest attempt to rid herself of the email albatross was all over Facebook as a trending story. (We all know how Facebook likes to treat its users like a giant social experiment.) The Democrats could all breathe a deep sigh of relief. Hillary was not at fault. It was General Powell’s fault.

Whoops.

It turns out that it wasn’t true. I hope you’re sitting down for this, but Hillary Clinton…well, she lied.

General Powell isn’t the type of fellow who is going to take Clinton’s accusations lying down. He was probably the wrong choice. She should probably read the book he wrote where he gives advice about leadership. Had she read that book, she might have looked for another huckleberry, because she would have realized General Colin Powell wasn’t it.

Powell spoke to Page Six reporters about the situation:

Powell, who had said last week in a statement that he had no recollection of the conversation, told Page Six at Saturday’s Apollo in the Hamptons event, “The truth is she was using it (her personal email) for a year before I sent her a memo telling her what I did [during my term as Secretary of State].

“Her people have been trying to pin it on me.”

When asked why Clinton’s team were attempting to blame him, he responded, “Why do you think?”

Despite appearing angered by the situation, he added, “It doesn’t bother me. It’s okay, I’m free.”

Basically, Powell said that for emails like “Hey – we’ve got a meeting in 30 minutes” a personal account was cool. Not for emails regarding national freakin’ security. Not for 30,000 or so classified emails.

Enjoy the video below. (Spoiler: Hillary Clinton lies in this video, too, as the reporter from Fox neatly points out.)

Hillary Clinton's email scandal continues.

Why does the former diplomat believe this to be the case?

"Why do you think?" he said. "It doesn't bother me. But it's okay; I'm free."

The email scandal has dogged presidential hopeful Clinton for more than a year. But federal officials decided not to pursue criminal charges after a three-and-a-half-hour interview, which was when the Democratic nominee disclosed her alleged conversation with Powell.

The reported conversation was first brought to light in journalist Joe Conason's upcoming Bill Clinton biography, Man of the World: The Further Endeavors of Bill Clinton, in which the writer details a dinner party held by Clinton and attended by Powell, Madeleine Albright, Henry Kissinger and Condoleeza Rice.

"Toward the end of the evening, over dessert, Albright asked all of the former secretaries to offer one salient bit of counsel to the nation's next top diplomat," Conason wrote. "Powell told her to use her own email, as he had done, except for classified communications, which he had sent and received via a State Department computer ... [Powell] confirmed a decision she had made months earlier – to keep her personal account and use it for most messages."

Powell's office later released a statement to NBC News, saying he "has no recollection of the dinner conversation." However, "He did write former Secretary Clinton an email memo describing his use of his personal AOL email account for unclassified messages and how it vastly improved communications within the State Department."
