(NaturalNews) Dallas County, Texas, and several nearby towns and cities in the Dallas area are currently being forcibly sprayed with toxic insecticides as part of a government effort to supposedly eradicate mosquitoes that may be carriers of West Nile virus (WNv). The mass sprayings, which are ramping up all across the country, involve blanketing entire areas with chemicals sprayed via airplanes, a highly controversial protocol that threatens not only all other insects and animals exposed, but also humans.

According to the City of Dallas, more than 380 state-confirmed cases of WNv have been reported throughout Texas this year, and at least 16 people in the Lone Star State have died in conjunction with the virus. The specifics of these cases and deaths have not been publicly released, but authorities insist that the situation is serious enough to warrant a series of at least three conjunctive aerial sprayings throughout Dallas County, including in Highland Park and University Park.

Aerial spraying chemicals linked to causing Colony Collapse Disorder

The chemical product being sprayed is known as Duet, an "advanced dual-action mosquito adulticide" that contains both sumithrin, the active ingredient in another mosquito pesticide known as Anvil, and prallethrin. Both chemicals are known to be highly-toxic neuropoisons that target not only mosquitoes, but also bees, bats, fish, crickets, and various other animals and insects (http://www.clarke.com/images/pdf/MSDS/2012MSDS/duet-msds.pdf).

Sumithrin, a synthetic pyrethroid, is known to kill bees, and is linked to the widespread bee die-off phenomenon known as Colony Collapse Disorder (CCD). In tests, sumithrin has been shown to damage human kidneys and the liver, and is also linked to causing both liver and breast cancers. Household pets exposed to sumithrin are also at risk of serious health complications, as are fish and other aquatic animals (http://www.pesticide.org).

Prallethrin, another synthetic pyrethroid, is hardly any better. A 1993 study published in the journal Environmental Health Perspectives suggests that prallethrin is a human endocrine disruptor. And like sumithrin, prallethrin is highly toxic to bees and other creatures besides just mosquitoes, threatening to very seriously disrupt the natural ecosystem of areas sprayed with it (http://www.pesticideinfo.org/Detail_Chemical.jsp?Rec_Id=PC35755).

Trust us, we're from the government

Despite all this, officials continue to publicly insist that the spraying chemicals, the details of which are not being openly disclosed, are harmless to humans, though there is no legitimate scientific evidence to back this claim. Instead, residents are simply being told that the sprayings are safe and necessary -- and many local residents seem content with this, having little or no concern about the harmful consequences of exposure.

In a recent photo published by the San Francisco Gate, for instance, local residents can be seen enjoying themselves on an outside patio at a local Dallas bar while spraying planes bombard them with chemicals overhead. As you will notice, these individuals appear to be amused by the large, toxic plumes in the sky (http://www.sfgate.com).

The same report explains that many local residents have been largely "unfazed" by the sprayings, and even the warnings to stay indoors while they are taking place. Many local residents have reportedly continued on with their normal routines despite the sprayings, including jogging on outside trails and engaging in other outdoor activities (http://www.sfgate.com).

Meanwhile, cities in Illinois (http://www.suntimes.com), California (http://www.nctimes.com), Massachusetts (http://www.boston.com), Pennsylvania (http://salisbury.patch.com), and elsewhere are also conducting their own aerial sprayings for WNv at the recommendation of the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).

Aerial mosquito spraying ineffective, unsafe

According to research compiled by the group Stop West Nile Virus Spraying Now (http://www.stopwestnilesprayingnow.org/), aerial spraying endeavors are not even effective at preventing the transmission of WNv. Dr. Wallace LeStourgeon, a molecular biologist from Vanderbilt University in Tennessee, says there is no evidence to show that aerial sprayings legitimately fight West Nile Virus (http://www.stopwestnilesprayingnow.org/Evidence.htm).

Contrary to the reassurances of public officials, there is also no evidence that aerial spraying chemicals are safe for humans. A Center for Public Integrity review of data compiled by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) shows that pyrethrin chemicals can cause severe reactions in many people, and may be responsible for injuring and killing far more people than they theoretically save from dying of WNv.

"Both peer-reviewed scientific research and mathematical modeling demonstrate that spraying is ineffective for WNv," says a recent report by California Progress Report. "A model widely used for infectious diseases produced two important conclusions when applied to WNv transmission: 1) early, sufficient treatment for mosquito larvae is the key to control; 2) treatment aimed at adults later in the season cannot possibly eradicate the virus."

The New West Nile Virus Epidemic
...Bioterrorism Or Mother Nature?

Cases of West Nile Virus infection were unheard of in America until the summer of 1999 when cases first broke out in New York City. By August 2004, the virus has spread across the continent to the West coast. Two women (an 88-year-old and a 91-year-old) were the first to die of the disease in Los Angeles County. Since 1999, more than 30,000 people in the U.S. have been reported as getting sick with West Nile virus. Already this year, as of August 2012, 43 states have reported 693 cases with 26 deaths.

West Nile Virus encephalitis is yet another new infectious disease from an African virus that has mysteriously erupted in the U.S., seemingly out of the blue. Is this another epidemic disease like AIDS and hepatitis C that poses a threat to certain "high risk" groups? Could the outbreak of WN virus be some sort of biologic "test" (like the anthrax letter mailing attacks in September 2001) to wake people up to the dangers of bioterrorism? Are all these new "emerging infectious diseases" merely cruel and unprecedented acts of Mother Nature? Or could the "hand of man" in the form of crazy biological warfare scientists be producing these new outbreaks? Is it just a "coincidence" that all these weird bugs and illnesses have erupted in the past several decades? Or is all this just "paranoid" thinking?

New Emerging Diseases; Accident of Nature or man-made illnesses?

In the 1970s it was thought that many infectious diseases had been banished from the industrialized world. But, remarkably, over the last four decades more than 30 new "emerging infectious diseases" have appeared in various places. Some of the better-known diseases include AIDS, Legionnaire's disease, toxic shock syndrome, Lyme disease, hepatitis C, "mad cow disease,” hanta virus, various new encephalitis and hemorrhagic viruses, Lassa fever, and Ebola virus. (New controversial diseases like chronic fatigue syndrome and Gulf War Illness affecting veterans, are not included in the government’s list of “emerging diseases.”)

Health officials blame increased global travel and globalization, population growth and movements, deforestation and reforestation programs, human sexuality (in the case of HIV), and increased human contact with tropical miniforests and other wilderness habitats that are reservoirs for insects and animals that harbor unknown infectious agents.

Nowhere in the official list of causes is the fact that for many decades millions of animals and innumerable vials of infectious material have been shipped around the world for commercial and biological warfare (b/w) purposes. The world trade in these deadly agents, coupled with gene-splicing technology, has increased the dangers of new disease outbreaks. In addition, many new viruses have been passed around between various species of animals, and some of these viruses have been adapted to human tissue. This has resulted in the production of new laboratory diseases that have potential biological warfare capabilities. The b/w implications of all these scientific "advances" have led some conspiracy-minded researchers to suspect that the hand of man might be responsible for the outbreak of one or more of these newly emerging diseases.

The new epidemic of West Nile Virus encephalitis in America

As mentioned, West Nile virus infection in humans first broke out in New York City in August 1999. The first sign of the WN epidemic occurred in early July when many birds died mysteriously. Half the crows in the New York City area died, as well as some exotic bird species housed at the Bronx zoo. The virus has an affinity for some species of birds; and the mosquito acts as a vector for the virus. Thus, the virus spreads from birds to mosquitoes, and the virus is spread to humans and other animals via mosquito bites. A few weeks after the bird kills, the first human cases of encephalitis appeared in local hospitals in the northern Queens section of the city. By September, nine of 25 infected horses with WN virus died in Long Island.

Although the virus is contagious between birds, the disease is not contagious between humans. It is estimated that only 20% of infected people will develop a mild flu-like form of the illness; but 1 in 150 people will develop a severe form of the disease with mental confusion, headache, swollen glands, high fever, severe muscle weakness, and the tell-tale symptoms of encephalitis (inflammation of the brain). Mild cases last a few days; severe cases can last several weeks.
Until 2002 the virus was confined to states in the Eastern half of the country. By the summer of 2002, all but 6 of the lower 48 states reported WN virus in birds, mosquitoes, animals or humans.

Also by 2002 the CDC confirmed that a transplant patient became infected by WN virus after having received organs from a Georgia accident victim infected with the virus. There was also evidence that the virus could be transmitted by an infected mother to her infant during breast feeding. Shockingly, it was announced that WN virus was in the nation's blood supply. In 2005 a blood screening test was developed and approved to test for the new virus.

West Nile virus: Out of Africa? Or out of a virus laboratory?

WN virus was first discovered in 1937 in encephalitis cases in Uganda, in East Africa. African cases tend to be a mild, and the virus there does not affect animal and bird populations to any significant degree. In fact, the ability of WN virus to infect and kill birds has only been noticed very recently. Could this indicate that the virus has been genetically-altered or ‘weaponized’ for biological warfare purposes during the many decades that it has been available for study in virus laboratories?

Mild outbreaks of WN occurred in Israel in 1951-1954 and 1957, and also in South Africa in 1974. However, since the mid 1990s, outbreaks of increasing frequency and severity have appeared in Morocco, Tunisia, Italy, Israel, and Russia, and have been strangely accompanied with a large number of bird deaths. A Romanian epidemic in 1996 infected 90,000 people and caused 17 deaths.

Scientists have determined that the closest viral "relative" of the “New York 99 strain” of the WN virus is a strain of WN virus that circulated in Israel from 1997-2000.

Health authorities suspect the virus entered the U.S. via travelers from the Middle East, or via a stray mosquito on an airplane. Other researchers claim the virus arrived with African animals or birds placed in zoos. But, in fact, the WN virus has been housed in U.S. labs for decades, and has been openly sold to researchers around the world.

It is hardly a secret that the WN virus, along with dozens of other infectious agents, was sold and shipped by the National Type Culture Collection (in Rockville, Maryland) to Iraq during the 1980s when the U.S. was on friendly terms with Saddam Hussein.

From the very beginning of the WN virus outbreak in the U.S., there were rumors that the disease outbreak was bioterrorism. However, there rumors were quickly denied by health officials. CDC spokesperson Barbara Reynolds told CNN that "the possibility of bioterrorism is at the bottom of the list for how some outbreak may have occurred. It appears Mother Nature is at work." (CNN report, 10/11/99).

Various new theories of origin appeared in the press. For example, a Los Angeles Times editorial (9/28/02) proclaimed that "scientists think (the virus) may have arrived in the early 1980s when Asian tiger mosquitoes traveled in tire casings from Japan to Houston." (One wonders who supplies the major media with these bizarre and undocumented stories.)

None of these theories deterred Vermont Senator Patrick Leahy from urging federal officials to determine if the introduction of WN virus is a terrorist attack. On September 12, 2002, Leahy declared: "I think we have to ask ourselves: Is it a coincidence that we're seeing such an increase in WN virus — or is that something that's being tested as a biological weapon against us." Leahy is no stranger to bioterrorism, having received an anthrax-laden letter at his Washington office a year earlier.

Secret U.S. military b/w experiments on human populations

A July 24, 2000 Report ("The West Nile Virus Wake Up Call") from the Senate Governmental Affairs Committee dismisses the idea of WN virus infection as biowarfare, although the CDC was criticized for its "tunnel vision" and its failure "to expect the unexpected." The Committee concluded that: "The next outbreak of an infectious disease — whether naturally occurring or deliberately inflicted — may not be so forgiving." (The 2001 anthrax attack proved to be the next “deliberately inflicted” b/w attack.)

It is surprising that the U.S. government quickly eliminated bioterrorism as a cause for the WN outbreak, particularly when the government has a long and well-documented history of b/w experimentation against unsuspecting citizens.

In the 1950s the U.S. military planned a project to cripple the Soviet economy by killing horses, cattle, and swine, with b/w weapons developed from exotic animal diseases. The animal laboratory at Plum Island, off the coast of Long Island, New York, is the Army's repository for viruses derived from the most dangerous animal diseases in the world. According to Norman Covert, base historian and public information officer at Fort Detrick, only a handful of scientists were aware of this project. "In many cases there were only maybe five people who knew what was going on in weapons research. People in one lab didn't know what happened in the next lab, and they didn't ask." Details of these Plum Island animal experiments were classified as secret until 1993. ("Plum Island's shadowy past: Once-secret documents reveal lab's mission was germ warfare," Newsday, 11/21/93)

During the 1950s and 60s secret military biowarfare attacks on unsuspecting civilians took place in many parts of America. The most notorious was a six-day attack on San Francisco in which clouds of potentially harmful bacteria were sprayed over the city. Twelve people developed pneumonia due to the infectious bacteria, and one elderly man died from the attack. This attack was not revealed to the public until years later when classified documents were finally released ("Army germ fog blanketed S.F. for 6 days in '50 test," Los Angeles Times, 9/17/79).

In other classified experiments, the military sprayed bacteria in New York City subways, in a Washington D.C. airport, and on highways in Pennsylvania. B/w testing also took place in military bases in Virginia, In Key West (Florida), and off the coasts of Southern California and Hawaii ("Army used live bacteria in tests on U.S. civilians," Los Angeles Times, 3/9/77).

The Army also experimented on its own soldiers. Project Whitecoat, a code name for a series of b/w experiments that took place at Fort Detrick between 1954 and 1973, utilized about 2,300 Seventh-Day Adventist volunteers who were exposed to germs causing tularemia, malaria, anthrax, Queensland fever, Rocky Mountain spotted fever, encephalitis, and a host of other exotic diseases. The experiments were aimed at preventing, diagnosing, and treating these diseases, as well as the development of vaccines. No one died in the experiments, but critics contend that the men were essentially coerced into participating in research that, despite military assurances to the contrary, could have been used to produce b/w weapons. ("Adventists' faith put to test; 2,300 soldiers were used in germ-warfare experiments," The Washington Times, 10/19/98)

In preparing America for nuclear attack during the Cold War years following World War II, thousands of U.S. citizens were used as unsuspecting guinea pigs in over 4,000 secret and classified radiation experiments conducted by the Atomic Energy Commission and other agencies, such as the Department of Defense, the Department of Health, Education, and Welfare, the Public Health Service (now the CDC), the National Institutes of Health, the Veterans Administration, the CIA and NASA. (See my Internet article: “The Human Radiation Experiments”)

The full extent of the U.S. government's experiments on unsuspecting people will probably never be known because many incriminating documents remain Top Secret or classified. Other documents are often declared as missing, destroyed, or "unavailable", in an attempt to hide the truth from the public.

AIDS: A designer disease with a genetically-altered laboratory virus?

Some AIDS researchers believe that this Special Virus Cancer Program of the 1970s (and its covert connection to America's b/w program) spawned the new HIV virus that was subsequently seeded into the U.S. homosexual community via the government-sponsored experimental hepatitis B vaccine program (1978-1981). These experiments in Manhattan , Los Angeles, and San Francisco, utilized only highly promiscuous, healthy white gay and bisexual men as guinea pigs. Shortly after this experiment began, the first cases of "gay-related immune deficiency disease" (later known as AIDS) erupted in New York City in 1979. (See my article “The man-made origin of AIDS”.) The idea of AIDS as a man-made virus that was deliberately seeded via vaccine programs into the American gay and African black population in the late 1970s is considered by most scientists to be a joke. Scientists pooh-pooh the idea of a "man-made" virus, even though the laboratory transfer of viruses from one species to another always results in a "man-made virus".

Killer Germs for Sale

Further complicating bioterrorism is the sale of deadly microbes to anyone and any country with the cash to buy them. From 1985-1988, when the U.S. was still friendly with Saddam Hussein, his Education Ministry purchased 70 shipments of anthrax, West Nile virus, and other disease-causing organisms from the American Type Culture Collection, in Maryland. At that time, such shipments were entirely legal and received quick approval by the U.S. Commerce Department. ("Germ library's inventory is making detractors queasy," Los Angeles Times, March 16, 1998.) Even after Hussein gassed the Kurds in 1988, and even after the Gulf War, U.S. officials continued to supply Iraq with biochemical warfare ingredients ("U.S. was a key supplier to Saddam," Seattle Post Intelligencer, Sept 24, 2002). The CDC also sent WN virus and numerous other biological agents to Iraq during the years 1984 and 1993.

The Riegle Report (May 25, 1994) further details biological and biochemical shipments from the U.S. to Iraqi government agencies. It was later learned that these microorganisms exported by the U.S. were identical to those the UN inspectors found and recovered from the Iraqi b/w program.

Was West Nile virus deliberately seeded into the environment?

Could the new outbreaks of WN virus be a result of decades of animal experimentation and manipulation of the African virus in various laboratories worldwide? Surely over the past 60 years new strains of WN virus have been developed and "weaponized" by genetic and/or b/w engineers. Once a virus like WN is "introduced" into the environment it can subsequently spread rapidly on its own. Already the WN virus causes disease in humans, and animals and birds, unlike that seen in Africa back in the 1930s. In 2002, there were various media reports claiming that some WN patients were developing signs and symptoms of polio, even though that disease is caused by a different virus. Could these never-before seen manifestations of WN virus be an indication that the virus has been altered in a laboratory? Could this more deadly form of WN virus reflect manipulation, not by Mother Nature, but by the hand of man?

Besides acting as a wake up call, what would be the advantage of introducing WN virus into the American environment? For a foreign terrorist, WN virus would be a poor choice of bioweapon. As a killer of old and sick people, it would not be a terribly effective b/w weapon. However, if the virus was introduced domestically as a “test” (like anthrax), the killing off of old and sick people would certainly aid the fiscal problems of Social Security and Medicare.

How many more wake up calls with bioterrorism will be required before health officials stop looking in rain forests and African animals for the origin of these new epidemic diseases —and begin to look at the world trade in deadly infectious agents, and the insanities of biowarfare research.

Biowarfare agents are designed solely to kill large numbers of civilians. And any country that is willing to employ and deploy these agents should be fully aware that — What Goes Around, Comes Around.

In this article it is only possible to discuss a tiny bit of evidence pointing to AIDS as a man-made disease. My two books, AIDS and the Doctors of Death (1988), and Queer Blood: The Secret AIDS Genocide Plot (1993), provide extensive documentation for this theory. There is also a wealth of information on the Internet regarding this topic: simply go to google.com and type in “man-made AIDS.”

West Nile: They’re Lying to You Again

The government PR machine has swung into high gear promoting West Nile disease. It’s a “national outbreak.” 1138 cases in 38 states. 41 deaths. Planes are spraying toxic aerial pesticides.

Never mind that the US Centers for Disease Control claims 36,000 people die every year from ordinary seasonal flu—and there are no announcements of an “epidemic” or an “outbreak.”

Never mind that the World Health Organization (WHO) claims between 250,000 and 500,000 people die every year from ordinary seasonal flu—and this isn’t called an “epidemic” or an “outbreak.”

If you added up the death count from all the hyped and predicted epidemics of the last decade, including West Nile, SARS, bird flu, weaponized smallpox, and Swine Flu, the total would come to about one year of deaths in the US from ordinary flu.

But who cares about facts? What’s important is how much fear can be generated. That’s the statistic that counts, when you’re talking about the CDC or WHO.

And when it comes to the public, it seems that some people feel a morbid attraction for viruses. Every time a new one is announced, they rub their hands together and say, “This is the big one! It’s going to spread like wildfire!”

Other people, involved in natural health, who reject huge amounts conventional medical wisdom, nonetheless make the mistake of buying the virus of the moment. They automatically accept it as real and then figure out how to treat it naturally. That can be a big mistake.

Have researchers ever actually isolated (found) the West Nile virus? You should be asking that question.

You should always question what the CDC tells you.

The deepest form of medical-research chicanery comes when scientists claim they’ve found a new virus and they haven’t. They haven’t nailed it down. They say they have, but that’s not true.

People have a hard time fathoming this. They will accept the fact that a medical drug touted as miraculous really causes heart attacks, strokes, and death, but for some reason The Virus is sacred territory. “Scientists would never lie about that.” Really? Why not?

Do you think discovering a new virus is like dipping a tweezer into a dish of liquid and picking out a little critter who is shaking his legs? And therefore, nobody can lie about it, because it’s either there or not? No, that’s not the way it works.

A new virus is discovered by taking a tissue sample suspected of harboring it; then that sample must be transferred to a fine filter that will trap the virus. That’s how the initial all-important isolation process is begun.

In the case of West Nile, this was attempted in 1999. It was called a success, but there was a major problem. As I stated in a previous article:

Researchers claim the West Nile virus is 0.04 micrometers. At the same time, they admit that the original fishing expedition for the virus employed filters that were 0.22 micrometers. The obvious conclusion? The filter was too porous. It was nearly six times larger than the virus.

http://abcnews.go.com/Health/story?id=117258&page=4

In fact, Robert McLean, director of the National Wildlife Center of the US Geological Survey, told ABC’s Nick Regush, “We don’t have a purified form of the [West Nile] virus.”

A stunning admission.

The late ABC reporter, Regush, followed up on McLean’s pronouncement with this: “I find no evidence anywhere in the scientific literature that the rules of virus purification and isolation were thoroughly followed [in the case of the West Nile virus].”

People respond to these assertions with an accusatory tone: “Then what’s making people sick? Why are people dying?”

People getting sick and dying doesn’t necessarily have a connection to why health authorities are telling you they’re dying.

If a newspaper reported that a hurricane in Missouri killed 12 people, and then you discovered there had been no hurricane, would you insist on pretending there was, because 12 people died? No, of course not. You would assume the people died for other reasons.

It’s the same situation with West Nile. People get sick and die all the time. If the virus that supposedly is causing an outbreak of illness has never been found, you look for other causes.

Again, from my previous article:

There are some good reasons people in the Dallas area are getting sick. These reasons have nothing to do with “West Nile.”

A decade ago, independent journalist, Jim West, launched an original investigation into the so-called “West Nile epidemic” in New York City.

http://www.naturalhorse.com/archive/volume4/Issue6/article_8.php

West correlated clusters of human and bird “West Nile” cases with several factors; among them, nearby polluting oil refineries, other air pollution (certainly exacerbated by hot summer weather), and the presence of toxic MTBE, an additive that makes gasoline in cars burn cleaner.

There are listings for at least eight refineries in the Dallas area. There are also reports of increased air pollution coming from natural gas production in the Barnett Shale. The 2012 summer has been hot. As of of the year 2000, Texas refineries were producing 75% of all the MTBE in the United States.

And since this has been a very hot and dry summer in other areas of the US, high-air-pollution locales have intensified.

Am I saying that the never-isolated “West Nile virus” might be functioning as a cover story, to conceal what is really making people sick? Absolutely.

As an illustration, the medical history of the African continent is replete with such cover stories. Over and over, germs have been heralded as the cause of people dying in great numbers.

Centuries-old causes of ongoing death in Africa were intentionally overlooked: contaminated water supplies; horrible sanitation; overcrowding; generation-to-generation malnutrition and starvation; stolen farm land.

Most Americans automatically assume the arrival of western doctors with drugs and vaccines is a good sign for Africa. Nothing could be further from the truth. The doctors are sent there to cover up the truth.

Why? Because many interested parties, powerful players inside and outside of Africa, want the true and persisting causes of illness and death to remain, in order to keep the population weak and controllable. It’s easy to hide this agenda by advertising a fake disease-cause and a fake medical remedy. Medical intervention will never cure what’s ailing Africa. If you walked through a swamp of filthy contaminated water every day on your way to work, do you think a course of antibiotics would keep you healthy?

Here in America, when various toxic environmental causes of illness bring people down, there needs to be a cover story as well. The most believable cover is The Virus. It works. People stand up and salute it. They’re saluting it now in Dallas and other places.

I don’t care how many pictures of how many mosquitoes are adorning television screens and newspapers. “Oh, the mosquito carries the West Nile virus!” Really? Even if no one ever found such a virus?

Buy the virus story if you want to. Everyone has that freedom. But science is supposed to be about proof, and in the case of West Nile, it’s all supposition and presumption and lying.

The medical PR machine will grind on. New stories will appear. “The worst summer ever.” “New deaths from West Nile.” “More mosquitoes carrying the deadly West Nile virus found.” “The very young and elderly at greatest risk.” “Medical experts try to discover why West Nile returned with a fury.”

How many people will give in at each new barrage of propaganda and accept the virus story?

Remember Swine Flu? The whole planet was going to go down. In the end, WHO announced the total global death figure as 20,000. Then, in a mindless burst of revisionism this year, the total was changed to 580,000.

Here’s a number for you. Three maniacal spokespeople from the CDC, backed by five major television networks, can brainwash the public about a virus in seven days.

Health Officials: No Need To Call 911 For Mosquito Bites

August 24, 2012 12:54 PM

Link: http://dfw.cbslocal.com/2012/08/24/health-officials-no-need-to-call-911-for-mosquito-bites/

FORT WORTH (CBSDFW.COM) – With hundreds of human cases of the West Nile Virus being reported across Texas and more than a dozen related deaths in North Texas it seems some people are overreacting and calling 911 when they’re bitten by a mosquito.

In short, health officials say a mosquito is not a health emergency.

“We understand peoples concerns regarding the West Nile Virus, but in the absence of any symptoms of West Nile then a simple mosquito bite is really not a reason for someone to call 911,” said Matt Zavadsky, public affairs director for MedStar Emergency Medical Services.

One woman called Fort Worth 911 requesting assistance because her young nephew had a bump on his arm.

While Fort Worth 911 has a nurse triage program during the day, at night the options are different for emergency workers.

“So our only option at that point is to send an ambulance to that call which takes that emergency resource out of the system — to respond to the motor vehicle accidents, the heart attacks — while we assess that mosquito bite on scene and then have the patient sign some paperwork for us, to allow us to leave,” Zavadsky explained.

Health officials say even if the West Nile Virus is transmitted by a mosquito bite the person would have no symptoms while the virus incubates. An individual wouldn’t begin to feel ill until the virus manifested itself several days later.

If a person is worried that they’ve contracted West Nile health officials say they should contact their personal physician or go to a health clinic. Residents can also get health information by calling 311 in Dallas and 211 in Fort Worth.

When it comes to staying safe Zavadsky said the battle must be a personal one.

“The best protection against catching West Nile Virus is a defensive position — wear long sleeve clothes, wear long pants, look into your neighborhood and look into your backyard to make sure that you don’t have a breeding ground for those mosquitos,” he urged. “Just be proactive about it and prevent the mosquito bite and you can sleep better at night.”

West Nile Virus “Outbreak” Justifies Spraying Toxic Chemicals onto Citizens

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) state that the cases of West Nile virus (WNV) are raising to the point of having the largest outbreak ever seen in the domestic US. In total, the CDC is reporting 1,118 cases with 41 deaths attributed.

Yet the CDC claims that most bitten by an infected mosquito do not come down with WNV. It appears the governmental agency fear-mongers and downplays the threat in the same breath.

Dr. Lyle Petersen, the director of the CDC’s Vector-Borne Infectious Disease Division confirmed:

The peak of West Nile virus epidemics usually occur in mid-August, but it takes a couple of weeks for people to get sick, go to the doctor and get reported. Thus we expect many more cases to occur.

The Connecticut Mosquito Management Program asserts that because the mosquitos carrying WNV are one an estimated 1 in 500 which would point the attribution of the infected to another source.

The areas of the country where the most cases have been reported are Texas, South Dakota, Mississippi, Oklahoma, Louisiana and Michigan. Petersen believes that “we think the reported numbers will get higher through October.”

Fifty-six percent of the reported cases correlate with a neuroinvasive disease wherein the WNV enters the nervous system directly causing the manifestation of meningitis or encephalitis.

In response to the “national outbreak” of WNV, there have been concerted efforts to step up the aerial assault of spraying to eradicate the disease. This spraying, to kill the mosquito population is causing viable damage to the humans and the environment which is most likely the reason for calling the WNV outbreaks a sorted epidemic.

The US government has been involved in creating designer viruses onto unwitting populations that have been the obvious causation of viral epidemics. In response to WNV and a burgeoning mosquito population in 2000, the spraying of malathione began. The result was a massive attack on the human immune system from the toxic chemical.

As the WNV “outbreak” is being hyped in the mainstream media now, the use of malathione is again being utilized. However, this chemical use is tantamount to bioterrorism on the American public. Malathione is a cancer-causing toxic substance that has been sprayed over-head in the name of keeping the WNV from continuing to spread.

Governmental propaganda extends to WNV outbreaks being initiated by suspected Middle Eastern “terrorists” according to Congressional record. In a 2002 Congressional testimony, Dr. Leonard Horowitz, said that the makers of WNV vaccines were suspect as participating in public outbreaks.

By combining CDC reports, with the documentation of pharmaceutical corporations, and bioweapons laboratories that supplied vials of WNV to Iraq in the 1980s, the movement of the bioweapon has been traced.

The Center for Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology (CIGB) has conducted extensive research and development into bioterrorism since 1986. The Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) believes that the CIGB is a biological weapons laboratory. Because the CIGB was located in Cuba, the Castro connection and classification of Cuba as a terrorist nation then creeps into the American social meme.

The aerial response to the current WNV outbreak involves the chemical Duet which is an “advanced dual-action mosquito adulticide” that is combined with Anvil, another mosquito pesticide, as well as prallethrin. The purpose of these chemicals is because of their neurotoxic properties and damaging effects on the human immune system. They also are associated with organ failure, as well as dangerously carcinogenic as they have been linked to breast cancer.

CDC caught in West Nile virus fear mongering campaign; mass chemical spraying WORSE than mosquitoes

(NaturalNews) The U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) is currently engaged in a massive fear mongering campaign that would have everyone in America believe that the so-called West Nile virus (WNv) is spreading uncontrollably like wildfire. Though the CDC admits that only a miniscule percentage of people have even a remote chance of contracting the virus, the agency is still pushing for the mass spraying of cities with toxic pesticides, and actively encouraging people to coat themselves in toxic DEET chemicals to deter mosquitoes.

We recently reported on the misguided efforts of Texas officials to blanket Dallas-area towns and cities with cancer-causing "neuropoisons" as a solution to the supposed WNv crisis (http://www.naturalnews.com), despite the fact that only a few individuals, who were presumably already immunocompromised, died across the state. Now, the agency is continuing its scare campaign by pushing people everywhere to spray their bodies with DEET bug spray, which is potentially even more dangerous that contracting WNv.

DEET can damage the human nervous system
DEET, which is known chemically as N,N-diethyl-meta-toluamide, is an insect repellant chemical that was originally developed by the U.S. Army back in 1946, and later made available to consumers in 1957. It is widely used today as the active ingredient in conventional mosquito repellant sprays, and is claimed by many to be a safe, behavior-modifying chemical that does not interfere with human health in any way.

But a 2010 study published in the journal BioMed Central Biology reveals that DEET actually appears to repel mosquitoes and other insects by interfering with the normal function of their nervous systems, rather than just modifying their behavior. Specifically, DEET appears to inhibit a key neurological enzyme, acetylcholinesterase, which is a precursor to the neurotransmitter substance acetylcholine. This inhibiting effect is similar to the one brought about by exposure to toxic nerve gases, or organophosphate insecticides. (http://www.naturalnews.com/029136_deet_toxic.html)

What this means is that the human nervous system is susceptible to neurological damage from DEET exposure as well, which in more extreme cases can mean permanent brain damage or even death. In other words, encouraging the masses to spray themselves with DEET to protect against WNv is akin to telling a person who works in a battery acid factory to preemptively expose himself to equally dangerous neutralizing chemicals just in case he happens to come in contact with the acid chemicals.

Why isn't the CDC encouraging people to eat immune-boosting superfoods and supplements in order to naturally avoid WNv?
All this sky-spraying and body-spraying advice by the CDC completely neglects any recommendation to the public to actually try to boost their own natural immune systems to avoid WNv infection. A recent CDC announcement put out by CNN explains that only one in 500 mosquitoes is even infected with WNv, and 80 percent of people who get bitten by an infected mosquito will not show any visible symptoms or become sick in any way.

Among the 20 percent that do show symptoms, only about one half of one percent will develop anything close to severe symptoms, and most of these individuals will be over 50 years of age and have already weakened immune systems. When computed statistically, this translates into a virtually zero percent chance that the average person will experience any health problems associated with WNv, should they be among the miniscule few that even contract it in the first place.

Rather than endorse the dousing of the entire population in health-destroying pesticide chemicals and bug sprays, the CDC should instead be advising people to simply fortify their bodies with immune-boosting superfoods like cruciferous vegetables, omega-3 foods and oils, vitamin D, spirulina, and others, which would help naturally prevent WNv infection from gaining hold and manifesting symptoms.
