Hayward State Fraternity Upset over Racist Fliers
May 22 (AP) --Members of a fraternity at Hayward State University are upset about a flier someone posted on campus suggesting that their group was racist.
About 50 fliers made to look like invitations to a barbecue at the fraternity were put up at Hayward State Thursday. At the bottom of the bogus invites the words quote -- "No Black People" were scrawled.
The fraternity says it did not have a barbecue scheduled and does not know who is responsible for the
liers, which members say has unfairly tarnished Delta Chi.
The university is investigating the incident. In the meantime, Delta Chi is hosting an open forum on Monday to talk about racism.
