Known Crips member Isaac Jordan, 19, fired at an 18-year-old victim, who is affiliated with the Gates Fam gang, as he rode a Citi Bike, authorities said.

A gang member who was out on probation was busted for opening fire on a rival while riding a Citi Bike this week, according to cops and law enforcement sources.
Isaac Jordan, 19, who is affiliated with the Gates Fam gang, fired at the 18-year-old victim, a known Crips member, as he rode the rent-a-bike at Gates and Tompkins avenues in Bedford-Stuyvesant around 4 p.m. on Thursday, authorities said.
The victim, who was Jordan’s intended target, was taken to the Kings County Hospital Center and expected to survive, cops said.
After the shooting, Jordan bolted into a nearby building and tossed a gun out the window of a fourth-floor apartment, police sources said.
It was unclear whether that weapon was the same one used in the shooting.
Members of the NYPD’s Emergency Service Unit convinced Jordan to come out of the apartment, according to the sources.
Jordan was arrested and charged with attempted murder, assault, criminal use of a firearm, criminal possession of a weapon and reckless endangerment, cops said.
He had bragged on social media about shooting people in the past, according to a law enforcement source.

Jordan was sentenced to five years probation as a youthful offender when Brooklyn Judge Craig Walker bundled two of his previous cases — one a non-fatal shooting from December of 2019 in which he was charged with second-degree assault and criminal possession of a weapon; and another weapon possession case from June of 2020 — both when he was 17, the source said.
The sentence came over the objection of the Brooklyn DA’s office, which had asked that Jordan be sentenced to seven years behind bars.
His probation began this past June and expires in 2026, according to the source.
“Walker let ’em walk,” another source told the Post. “Some guys need to be in jail. This guy is giving away the store.”

The state Office of Court Administration told the Post that “the record that the judge made at sentencing encapsulates his decision.”
Police Commissioner Dermot Shea tweeted about the arrest Friday.
“Yesterday, after an 18 y/o was shot on Brooklyn’s Gates Ave, the shooter fled to an area apartment,” the top cop wrote. “As cops surrounded the building, a gun was thrown from the window. The 19 y/o shooter, already on probation for a previous weapons charge, is in custody & charged w/ att. murder.”
