Sports: Former Footballer Mondre Khalid Dickerson accused of rape

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. Former University of Tennessee defensive lineman Mondre Dickerson is facing another rape charge approximately a year after being accused while he was with the Volunteers.
The 22-year-old from Memphis posted a 25-thousand-dollar bond on Monday and was freed from jail.
Dickerson was ordered while free on bond to stay away from the 30-year-old woman who reported the rape.
According to police, the Knox County Sheriff's Office was alerted June 21st by a hospital of a sexual assault victim. The woman told authorities she met Dickerson at a nightclub.
Dickerson was suspended from the Vols by coach Phillip Fulmer in November 2003, the same day an 18-year-old woman r
eported Dickerson raped her.
He missed the final three games of the regular season and the Peach Bowl.
