Hearings reset for 5 rape suspects in Aliquippa

Preliminary hearings for five Aliquippa men accused of raping a woman Wednesday are scheduled for Dec. 22.
Hearings for Dayvon Cox, 21, Enrico Jackson, 18, Brandon Revis, 19, Demarcus Walker, 19, and Carlos Hicks, 28, were originally scheduled for yesterday in Beaver County Central Court.
According to a criminal complaint from Aliquippa police, a man, his girlfriend and another female friend were attempting to buy marijuana through two men later identified as Mr. Cox and Mr. Revis.
Mr. Cox and Mr. Revis had them drive from Aliquippa to New Brighton, then back to an abandoned gas station in Rochester Township.
There one of the men shot out the window of the vehicle they were in, forced the man to withdraw money from a bank machine and forced h
im to drive back to Aliquippa.
There, ac
cording to the complaint, Mr. Cox ordered the two women to undress, and at gunpoint forced the man's girlfriend to perform a sex act on him and the other woman to perform oral sex on the man.
Mr. Cox then ordered the man and the second woman out of the vehicle and drove off with the man's girlfriend and Mr. Revis to an area near the Aliquippa High School football stadium. The girlfriend told police the other three men appeared there, and all five raped her and forced her to perform sex acts on them.
The suspects were charged with two counts each of rape and involuntary deviate sexual intercourse, and one count each of sexual assault and conspiracy. Mr. Cox and Mr. Revis also were charged with two counts each of kidnapping.
