Green Hills Robbery Suspect Surrenders

One Suspect Still At-Large

NASHVILLE, Tenn. -- A man suspected in a robbery at the Mall at Green Hills parking garage on Tuesday afternoon surrendered to police late Friday night.

Christopher James Gross, 21, is accussed of robbing Erin Thurman, 18, of his wallet and cell phone Tuesday afternoon as he stood outside his broken down car in a parking garage near the movie theater. Gross is being held on a $320,000 bond.

Police believe Gross was helped by Demonteice L. Henderson, 21.

Thurman said the two forced him into the trunk of his
Maxima at gunpoint before they escaped.

Police also say Gross and Henderson robbed Darrius Summers, 28, as he walked to his apartment on State Street early Tuesday.

Gross is charged with two counts of aggravated robbery, aggravated kidnapping, identify theft and fraudulent use of a Thurman's credit card.

Police are still searching for Henderson.
