A man going through the drive-through window at the McDonald's restaurant at Keene Plaza was beaten and robbed early Tuesday morning by two other men who thought he was taking too long to get through the line, said Largo police.

Edward Archer was sitting in his 1996 Sebring convertible while waiting to pick up his food about 2 a.m. from the 24-hour McDonald's on 2300 East Bay Drive. According to police, the wait was too long for b
others Bogdan T. Rasoi, 24, and Catalin Ionut Rasoi, 20, who reached into Archer's car and began to punch him.

The brothers pulled Archer out of his car and shoved him against the wall of the res

taurant, police said. Archer's car started t
o roll. Archer, 27, pulled out a small hunting knife and tried to get the men to back off, but instead they continued the fight.

Police arrived at the scene to find "three men covered in blood" and the Rasoi brothers driving away in Archer's convertible.

Archer received a "nasty bite" to his biceps and had several cuts on his hands, according to the police report. Catalin Rasoi was stabbed under the arm. Both Rasoi brothers were arrested and charged with burglary and aggravated battery.

Though the Rasois are white and Archer is black, police say they do not suspect it was a hate crime.
