SEATTLE -- Detectives are looking for a man suspected of entering a Yesler Terrace apartment, shooting a resident and stealing his money Oct. 8, according to the Seattle Police Department.
According to the police report for the incident, a woman called 911 reporting her boyfriend had just been shot shortly after 4 p.m. in an apartment in the 800 block of Jefferson Street.
Officers arrived to find a man shot in the shoulder. According to the report, the man was initially not forthcoming with details about the shooting but eventually said the suspect was a friend from the streets, though he was unable to give a full name.
The victim told officers the suspect came looking for marijuana and crack but ended up taking money and shooting him because he didn't have any drugs.
Officers got the suspect's phone number from the victim's cellphone and gave him a call. According to the report, the suspect, using a raspy and demonic voice, told officers he was in "Hell" when asked where he was.
