Police release surveillance video of Rolex theft

AVENTURA, Fla. (WSVN) -- Police have released surveillance video of a man who stole a Rolex watch from Avenutra Mall last week.

Surveillance video captured the man trying on the watch inside the Mayors Jewelry store Wednesday, May 27th. According to police, the man put on the watch, fled the store and jumped into a silver Toyota sport utility vehicle waiting at the front of the mall.

The watch is worth $86,000.
