Former Piston William Bedford charged with nonpayment of child support
LANSING -- Former Detroit Piston William Bedford has been arrested and charged with nonpayment of more than $300,000 in child support, the state said.
Michigan Attorney General Mike Cox said Bedford was arrested Wednesday and waived extradiction to Michigan Thursday in Harris County, Texas, where he faces other charges.
Bedford, 40, came to the Pistons in 1987 after the Phoenix Suns traded him for a first-round draft pick. He played in
