BNP Northern Ireland Launches 2009 Leafleting Campaign

February 15, 2009

mid-ulster-mapThe British National Party’s growing Northern Ireland branch has launched its 2009 leafleting campaign by distributing more than 4000 pieces of literature in the Mid Ulster, reports that province’s organiser Kieran Dinsmore.

“This area was chosen because the Mid Ulster area has the largest populations of migrant workers and asylum seekers in Northern Ireland," said Mr Dinsmore.

Seven activists distributed the leaflets over a five hour period, meeting a warm reception from the locals who were delighted to the see the party active in their area.

“Ulster BNP will continue to focus on the Mid Ulster area, and if we are to stand people for election, then this is where I would predict that our greatest gains will come. Every year Ulster BNP make steady progress in terms of growth and general interest from the public," he continued.

“As the current economic situation continues to bite deeper into people’s pockets, folk are now beginning to take an interest in a variety of issues which only a year ago would not have seemed that important to them.

“These issues include rising unemployment, lack of housing and health care provision, which is well and truly creaking under the pressure of numbers."

Mr Dinsmore added that the usual tribalist Northern Ireland political parties
continue to massage the figures and attempt to convey the lie that mass immigration is helping the economy.

“The reality is quite otherwise, and the people of Ulster are steadily waking up to the fact that that the BNP’s message has been correct all along. Ulster BNP activists will continue to spread this message of hope and assure the public that there is light at the end of the tunnel," he said.

* The leafleting team was assembled under new group organiser for the Mid Ulster area, Davy Stewart. Mr Dinsmore expressed his appreciation for their efforts, particularly as the leafleting expedition had been undertaken despite falling snow.
