FBI Uses Confidential Informant to Entrap Militia Activists for Phony Siege on Gretchen Whitmer

Instead of actually investigating Russia-gate players for the biggest political scandal in U.S. history, the FBI is busy staging fake terror plots to entrap and ensnare unsuspecting militia activists.

According to the court affidavit, six individuals in Michigan considered conducting a citizens’ arrest on Governor Gretchen Whitmer for her intolerable actions against the constitution to wreck the economy and shut down the state illegally. The deep state spooks are attempting to paint these actions as some sort of terrorist plot.

“Several members talked about murdering ‘tyrants’ or ‘taking’ a sitting governor,” an FBI agent wrote in the affidavit. “The group decided they needed to increase their numbers and encouraged each other to talk to their neighbors and spread their message.”

“The group talked about creating a society that followed the U.S. Bill of Rights and where they could be self-sufficient,” an FBI agent wrote about the motives of the men whose lives the feds intend to destroy to help Democrats.

For talking like the founding fathers and wanting to protect the rule of law, these men are going to be crucified by the deep state. Meanwhile, Black Lives Matter terrorists commit anti-white pogroms throughout the nation and the feds routinely cover for their seditious, anti-American revolutionary activity.

Left-wing journalist Michael Tracey noted that this case has all the makings of another federal rouse to dupe the public:

FBI pulls entrapment schemes constantly with a wide range of targets, from mentally unstable “radical Muslim” teenagers to purported right-wing militia groups. You may want to familiarize yourself with these tactics

— Michael Tracey (@mtracey) October 8, 2020

The Detroit News noted that “those present included an FBI confidential source who recorded the meetings” and that “the source has been paid $8,600.” The anonymous coward took 30 pieces of silver to commit this frame job on behalf of the federal jackboots.

Michigan State Police Col. Joe Gasper confirmed that state law enforcement is fully on board with the FBI’s war against 2nd Amendment supporters.

“But it does send a very vivid reminder that while we may be in a period of discourse, possibly even divisiveness and fighting across the nation, law enforcement stands united,” Gasper said.

Six men have been hit with the federal charges. They have been identified as Ty Garbin, Adam Fox, Barry Croft, Kaleb Franks, Daniel Harris, and Brandon Caserta. Michigan Attorney General Dana Nessel is expected to announce more charges against activists in the days to come, as the Democrat administration exploits this fake sting to target their political opponents.

Big League Politics reported earlier this year on how the fake news media and veteran deep state criminals were bragging publicly about their intentions to ensnare white patriotic Americans in these sort of promulgated terror stings to deprive them of their life, liberty and pursuit of happiness:

MSNBC host Katy Tur recently interviewed former FBI Assistant Director for Counterintelligence Frank Figliuzzi in a segment in which the two seemingly endorsed creating false flag scenarios to radicalize white “extremists” and entrap them in false flag operations.

“When you’re looking at ISIS or you’re looking at radical Islamic terrorism, I’ve covered a number of stories where the FBI would track young kids, or young men, and they would talk to them online, and say ‘you know, here’s how you build a bomb,” or “here’s where you get your bomb-making materials,” and they track that person as that person radicalized and then arrested them before they could do anything bad,” Tur explained.

“Why is the same not being done for white extremists or is the same being done and we just don’t know about it?” She asked Figliuzzi.

“No, it’s time, it’s time to seriously ask that question and to wrestle with it because politics does enter in, and as you’ve said, as soon as you mention even the need for a domestic terrorism statute, right, that addresses this, you’ll hear people start screaming, ‘This is the thought police. You’re trying to suppress thought.’ My answer to that is: This is not about thought. This is about verbalizing an intention to commit violence. That’s what we’re talking about,” he responded.

Figliuzzi called for a massive Draconian crackdown on digital free speech led by law enforcement and noted that President Trump and his supporters should be the focus of these efforts.

“It’s time to hit it head on and do it in partnership between law enforcement and providers… And if we don’t get out in front of it, it will just keep happening because the President represents a bully pulpit where there is fresh daily content of radicalization. The same goes for a state-subsidized news network that refuses to denounce this kind of thing. Radical Islamists would give their right arm to have that kind of fresh daily content,” he added.

This is another shameful example of the systemic racism perpetrated against white people in diversity-occupied America.

One of 13 Michigan militiamen charged over Gretchen Whitmer kidnap plot pleads not guilty to domestic terror charges

One of the 13 men charged in a domestic terror plot to kidnap Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer pleaded not guilty on Friday.

Shawn Fix, 38, appeared via video-link on Friday to plead not guilty to the charges. He was held on a $200,000 bond.

The men are all right-wing fanatics who plotted to kidnap Whitmer at her vacation home in Michigan. They wanted to put her on trial for 'treason' in a safe house in Wisconsin, but had their plot foiled by the FBI.

One of them had been pardoned last year for guns offenses, some attended rallies at the State Capitol building with guns in March and some defended a confederate statue at a protest in June.

Another part of their plan was to 'instigate a civil war', according to charging documents filed on Thursday.

In one of the many videos posted on social media by the men, Brandon Caserta, one of the men charged, fumes: 'Trump is not your friend, dude. It amazes me that people actually, like, believe that when he’s shown over and over and over again that he’s a tyrant. Every single person that works for government is your enemy, dude.'

It has also been revealed that the Michigan Attorney General's Office knew about the plot and had to move Whitmer and her family around to keep them safe.

One of the men accused, Shawn Fix, appeared via video link for a virtual bail hearing on Friday

Brandon Caserta, in a video now circulating on social media, calls Trump a 'tyrant' and referring to all government workers as 'enemies'

Governor Gretchen Whitmer knew about the plot to kidnap her and had to be moved around with her family

Two of the men who have been charged with domestic terrorism, had their bail set at $10million.

Dana Nessel disclosed the detail to CBS This Morning.

She said the Democratic governor was consistently updated about the investigation over the past couple months.

'She was aware of things that were happening. At times, she and her family had been moved around as a result of activities that law enforcement was aware of,' she said.

Whitmer on Thursday called the men 'sick and depraved'.

She appeared to blame their plot on President Trump and his 'rally cry' to the Proud Boys for some of the hatred towards her and other Democrats.

Other members of the group also posted on social media.

Pete Musico, 42, the alleged founder of militia group Wolverine Watchmen - Michigan is nicknamed the Wolverine State - posted a series of videos on YouTube claiming the government was 'robbing' taxpayers.

Grab the f***** Governor. Just grab the b***h'

According to authorities, the first group of six men started plotting in early June, carried out surveillance on her home and practiced shooting and combat drills.

They also tried to build their own explosives, according to the FBI affidavit.

The FBI discovered the plot through an informant who is also part of a known militia that the men tried to recruit from as part of a wider effort to 'take' the state capitol with 200 people.

Fox and Croft were the ringleaders, according to the affidavit.

They 'agreed to unite others in their cause' to 'overthrow' multiple state governments that they believe are violating the US. Constitution'.

In one of the alleged meetings, he talked about kidnapping Whitmer as she made her way into her vacation home, and told one of the other men: 'Grab the f***** Governor. Just grab the b***h'.'

Brandon Caserta, one of six men facing federal charges for a kidnap plot on Gretchen Whitmer, was charged on Thursday

Michigan militia member: 'It's time to go after the government'

The alleged plot began with a meeting where the men discussed forming their own 'self-sufficient' society in early June.

'At one point, several members talked about state governments they believed were violating the US Constitution, including the government of Michigan and Governor Gretchen Whitmer,' the FBI affidavit claimed.

The men then tried to recruit members of the Michigan militia group to help, the affidavit claims.

In one phone call that the FBI informant recorded on June 14, Fox said he needed 200 men to storm the Capitol building in Lansing and take hostages including the Governor.

He said they would 'try the State Government for treason' and that he would do all of this before the election.

On June 20, the men met at Fox's store in Grand Rapids.

They held a meeting in the basement which was accessed through a trap door, hidden under a rug. Fox then made them all put their cell phones in a box which he took upstairs. The FBI informant was wearing a wire.

At that meeting, the men discussed using 'Molotov cocktails' to attack police and take the Capitol Building.

They also discussed meeting again to practice firearms and tactical training.

On June 25, Fox live streamed a video on a closed Facebook group where he ranted about Whitmer, calling her a 'tyrant b***h'.

Michael Null (left) and William Null (right) at a protest outside the Michigan State Capitol in Lansing in April

He said: 'I don’t know, boys, we gotta do something. You guys link with me on our other location system, give me some ideas of what we can do.'

On June 28, Fox, his girlfriend, Garbin, Franks and Caserta attended a training exercise in Munich, Michigan, at one of the militia member's houses.

Franks left afterwards.

Fox, Garbin, Caserta and the informant remained. They were told to leave though if they did not want to participate in the attacks against the government and politicians.

Between July 10-12, the group attended a different training exercise in Wisconsin.

They practices shooting and combat drills and, according to the FBI, some of them tried to build IEDs with 'black powder, balloons, a fuse, and BB's for shrapnel'.

'They were faulty and didn't detonate as planned but the attempted explosions were recorded on video.'

On July 18, some of the men met again in Ohio and discussed attacking a Michigan State Police facility. Garbin then discussed 'shooting up' Whitmer's vacation home.

That day, he also said he did not want to go after the Capitol but was 'cool' with trying to kidnap her from her vacation home.

On July 27, Fox told the informant that their best chance of kidnapping Whitmer would be as she was arriving or leaving her vacation home or the Governor's summer residence.

He said it was a 'snatch and grab', and told the informant: 'Grab the f****n' Governor. Just grab the b***h. Because at that point, we do that dude, -- it's over.'

Later that day, on a group chat, he wrote: 'OK, how's everyone feeling about the kidnapping?' None of the others replied.

The following day, he wrote on a Facebook group: 'We about to be busy ladies and gentlemen...This is where the Patriot shows up. Sacrifices his time, money, blood sweat and tears... it starts now so get f*****g prepared!!!'

According to the FBI affidavit, the men planned to then move her to a secure location in Wisconsin, where they would put her on 'trial' but they did not have a location in mind, and planned to use a realtor to find the safe house.

On Thursday, Whitmer responded to the plot at a press conference where she appeared to blame the men's antics on Donald Trump, one of her most vocal critics.

'When I put my hand on the Bible and took the oath of office 22 months ago, I knew this job would be hard but I have to be honest, I never could have imagined anything like this,' she said.

She called the men 'sick and depraved' and said now is a time for 'unity' and not 'more division.'

Joe Biden, Democrat presidential candidate, also said Trump was to blame for the plot.

'The words he utters matters,' Biden said as he landed in Phoenix, Nevada to campaign with Kamala Harris and John McCain's widow, Cindy.

Asked if he thought Trump’s 'LIBERATE MICHIGAN' tweet encouraged militias like this, he said: 'Yes I do.'

'Why won’t the president just say: "Stop. Stop, stop, stop," and we will pursue you if you don’t,' the Democratic candidate added.

Whitmer was widely criticized for her tough lockdown rules in Michigan earlier this year.

There were widespread protests in the state by people who said they wanted the right to continue to work, including by some who stormed the state capitol with guns.

Her residence has received security updates in recent weeks.

On Thursday morning, three hours before the FBI announcement, Trump called Whitmer the 'lockdown queen,' having previously called her 'that woman from Michigan.'

He told Fox Business News' Maria Bartiromo: 'I won Michigan, which hadn't been won in decades and decades.

'And we should win it again because I brought so much business there because she's the lockup queen.

'What she's done to that, that place is horrible. She's locked it up. She's got people like living in prison. The courts just overturned her. They said what you're doing is unconstitutional.'

Not Making Headlines: Alleged “Right-wing” Militia Member Arrested for Plot Against Gov. Whitmer Was Black Lives Matter Protester and Sympathizer

Daniel Harris arrest photo. (UPI)

On Thursday the FBI announced during a press conference that it thwarted a plot by a so-called “right-wing militia” to kidnap and kill Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer and overthrow the state government.

Early Thursday morning, federal agencies raided a house in Hartland, Michigan and arrested six men: Adam Fox, Barry Croft, Ty Garbin, Kaleb Franks, Daniel Harris, and Brandon Caserta.

Whitmer immediately blamed the plot on President Trump telling the Proud Boys to “stand back and stand by.”

“Hate groups heard the president’s words as a rallying cry, as a call to action,” Whitmer said blaming white supremacists.

It turns out Brandon Caserta, one of anarchists who was arrested for plotting to kidnap Whitmer, actually hates President Trump and is on video calling Trump a “tyrant.”

And now there is evidence a second “rightwing” militia member attended at least one Black Lives Matter protest and was sympathetic to George Floyd and BLM protesters.

Governor Gretchen Whitmer owes President Trump and his supporters an apology.

The Daily Beast reported — and hid this until the end of the article:

23-year-old Daniel Harris from Lake Orion, Michigan. A LinkedIn page corresponding to Harris in that small Detroit-area town lists his current occupation as “security guard,” but indicates he served as a rifleman in the U.S. Marine Corps until last year.

An individual of that name was quoted complaining about excessive use of force by police and alluding to his background at an anti-racist protest in Lake Orion in June.

“It is a shame what happened with George Floyd and instances where law enforcement officers murder an unarmed man/woman who isn’t resisting arrest, was complying with the orders is wrong and need to be stopped. You look at photos and videos of news teams and protesters being beaten by riot police when they are there peacefully, you see people losing their eyes because if an officer shoots them with a ‘non-lethal’ round like pepper balls, or rubber bullets,” Harris said. “I’ve gone through that sort of training and I can promise you weapons like that they can turn into a lethal round.”

Whitmer would-be kidnappers are Antifa, love all races, hate Trump

Yesterday, the left-wingers on social media and in the so-called mainstream media had a hatefest against the right-wing going, claiming right-wing militiamen plotted to kidnap Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer and assault others, including the police. These 13 men hoped to start a Civil War.

All we know about the militia is they contacted the Michigan militia.

The 13 plotters seem to like the Constitution, guns (like all criminals, and hate the government. They are anarchists. They have no problem with minorities and want them to join with them in their Civil War.

The fact that they were anti-police had me wondering why they were men of the right. The university minions who watch for terrorists claim they are right-wing or go from left to right. That’s almost a total lie.

Take JJ MacNab, a fellow at George Washington, she helped start the blather about Boogaloo and the Wolverine Watchmen as right-wing. She includes the harmless online group QAnon and Vaxxers in those groups of violent anarchists and socialists/communists.

She claims some Boogaloos and the men like the ones who wanted to kidnap Whitmer sometimes like Trump which is a distortion of reality and an attempt at throwing shade on who is really terrorizing Americans — Antifa and Black Lives Matter.

The men arrested are Antifa-loving anarchists. The Boogaloo are socialist anarchists. Right-wing can’t be anarchist socialists, sorry JJ. The lies from these so-called university experts and politicians are nauseating.

WATCH THE ANARCHISTS TALK CRAZY

Two men arrested in plot to kidnap Michigan governor were Marine veterans

News Kickby News Kick-9 hours ago

Two of the 13 men arrested in an alleged domestic terrorism plot to kidnap Michigan Democratic Gov. Gretchen Whitmer were Marine veterans, according to Marine officials.

Joseph Morrison was a Marine reservist who joined the Corps in March 2015 and was discharged from the reserves as a lance corporal on Thursday, Capt. Joseph Butterfield, a headquarters Marine Corps spokesman, told Marine Corps Times Saturday.

He was assigned to Engineer Support Company, 6th Engineer Support Battalion, 4th Marine Logistics Group, Battle Creek, Michigan, and his awards included the National Defense Service Medal and the Selected Marine Corps Reserve Medal, Butterfield said.

His exit from the reserves had nothing to do with the alleged kidnapping plot, Butterfield said. The men were charged on Thursday.

Daniel Harris was an 0311 who joined the Corps in June of 2015 and was discharged in June of 2019 after serving with 3rd Battalion, 2nd Marines, based out of Camp Lejeune, North Carolina, Butterfield said.

His awards included the Good Conduct Medal, the Humanitarian Service Medal, the National Defense Service Medal, the Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, the Korean Defense Service Medal and the Sea Service Deployment Ribbon, Butterfield said.

The two men were allegedly part of a militia group named the “Wolverine Watchmen,” who were allegedly plotting to take down the Michigan government for perceived constitutional violations, Michigan Attorney General Dana Nessel said at a Thursday news conference.

“Our efforts uncovered elaborate plans to endanger the lives of law enforcement officers, government officials and the broader public," Nessel said.

“The individuals in custody are suspected to have attempted to identify the home addresses of law enforcement officers in order to target them, make threats of violence intended to instigate a civil war and engaged in planning and training for an operation to attack the capitol building of Michigan and to kidnap government officials including the governor of Michigan,” Nessel added.

Harris is one of six men allegedly involved in the plot facing federal charges, the Detroit Free Press reported.

Harris allegedly discussed “attacking a Michigan State Police Facility," and allegedly said, “Have one person go to her house. Knock on the door and when she answers it just cap her,” on an encrypted group chat, the paper reported.

Morrison is facing state charges for his alleged role in the plot and is alleged to be one of the founding members of the Wolverine Watchmen. He is known by the moniker the Boogaloo Bunyan, the Detroit Free Press reported.

The boogaloo movement started on the internet is linked to neo-Nazis and white supremacists seeking to capitalize on current unrest in the nation to start a second civil war, USA Today reported.

“We are aware of the circumstances surrounding the two individuals, and will assist the investigating authorities in any way we can,” Butterfield said in his Saturday statement.

“The serious allegations are not a reflection of the Marine Corps, do not reflect the oath every Marine takes to support and defend the constitution, and do not align with our core values of honor, courage, and commitment,” he added.

In a recent online event Marine Corps Commandant Gen. David Berger said the Corps needs to eradicate all traces of racism within its ranks.

“You have to be ruthless in rooting it out," Berger said about racism at the Defense One online expo in September.

“When you find it, you got to separate it like a cancer quickly because it clearly will spread,” he added.

'White Supremacist' Narrative Unravels: Whitmer Kidnap Suspect Attended BLM Rally, Another Called Trump A 'Tyrant'

Last week, the FBI says it foiled a plot to kidnap Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer (D), after the FBI infiltrated an anti-government militia and arrested 13 members who "talked about murdering 'tyrants' or 'taking' a sitting governor."

And while the FBI never suggested a race-based ideology in its criminal complaint, the MSM - as well as Michigan Attorney General Dana Nessel (D), took the 'white supremacist' ball and ran with it - hard.

On Friday, however, the Washington Post profiled several members of the group. Notably absent were accusations of 'white supremacy' - perhaps after acknowledging:

"One of alleged plotters, 23-year-old Daniel Harris, attended a Black Lives Matter protest in June, telling the Oakland County Times he was upset about the killing of George Floyd and police violence."

Another alleged plotter, Brandon Caserta, called President Trump a 'tyrant' - adding 'Trump is not your friend, dude.' Caserta notably has an anarchist flag behind him in several videos he's recorded.

Wow! This is big. Brandon Caserta, one of the ringleaders of the group of men arrested for a plot where the group planned to kidnap Gov. Gretchen Whitmer, hated President Trump too!

Again, there isn't a shred of evidence included in the FBI's criminal complaint, nor subsequent reporting, that the men adhered to a white supremacist ideology - a false narrative.

And so, it appears that the FBI busted an anarchist, anti-government militia which plotted violence against elected officials - yet hated both sides of the aisle.

Let's see how fast this entire affair disappears from the news cycle.

FBI Informant Was 'One Of The Most Active Leaders' Pushing 'Crackpot' Whitmer Kidnapping Plot: Defense

An FBI informant was "one of the most active leaders" in the alleged plot to kidnap Michigan Gov Gretchen Whitmer, according to a defense attorney for one of the accused.

From the Detroit Free Press:

There was no real plan to kidnap Gov. Gretchen Whitmer, but only "military wannabes" who engaged in "big talk" and played with guns in the woods, defense lawyers argued in court Tuesday.

As one defense lawyer suggested, the case appears to be one of "big talk between crackpots," or "people who talk a lot ... but are never going to do anything."

"Have you ever dealt with big talkers?" defense attorney Scott Graham asked an FBI agent on cross examination, adding: "There's kind of a military-wanna-be theme that runs between the militias."

[...] Defense lawyers contend that there was no probable cause to arrest and charge the suspect, arguing, among other things, that the suspects had no operational plan to do anything, were engaged in all legal activities — including talking in encrypted group chats and practicing military exercises with lawfully owned guns — and that it was the informants and undercover agents who "pushed" others to do illegal things.

"One of the most active leaders was your informant," Graham said.
If this was another FBI frame-up job certainly it wouldn't be the first and it won't be the last.

The FBI's affidavit revealed they had multiple informants and undercover agents involved in this operation going all the way back to June.

They could have arrested these saps months ago but likely chose to wait until right before the election for maximum political impact.

UPDATE: Suspects Say Ring Leader in Plot to Kidnap Wretched Governor Whitmer Was an Alleged FBI Informant — Who Pushed the Entire Plan

This didn’t make any headlines.
The ring leader in the plot to kidnap wretched Governor Gretchen Whitmer was an FBI informant.
He was planted into the group and was the one who pushed the entire plan.

Meanwhile, Hunter Biden’s laptop filled with criminal drug, sex and million dollar criminal dealings sits on a shelf at the FBI collecting dust — if they haven’t destroyed it already.

So, Antifa-BLM riots, loots and pillages cities across the US.
FBI Director Chris Wray warns Congress about the dangers of “white supremacist groups.”

And then two weeks later the FBI arrests a group of middle class gun nuts and patriots and accuse them of plotting to kidnap Gretchen Whitmer.
And now we find out days later it was the FBI informant who pushed the entire plot?

It really is time to shut down the FBI.

In the case of the alleged plot to kidnap Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer, were big talkers pushed into the early stages of big action by an FBI informant?

Early court proceedings have begun in the cases against the six men accused of plotting to kidnap Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer. Mainstream media is covering every nuance as best they can since this is being spun by Democrats as a way to blame President Trump for extremism. But one important detail from the bond hearings has been buried or altogether omitted from reporting. It’s the type of detail that has conspiracy theorists asking more questions.

Deep within a story from the Detroit Free Press is a potential bombshell if it pans out as true.

Authored by Angelo Codevilla via AmGreatness.com,

The FBI-generated indictment of six men on charges of terrorism for planning to kidnap Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer has all the earmarks of what has become that corrupt agency’s standard operating procedure.

Their lawyers are sure to claim they were victims of entrapment. If the case comes to trial, I doubt a jury will convict them.

During the eight years I spent supervising the intelligence agencies for the Senate Intelligence Committee, I watched as what had been a clerisy of strait-laced guardians of truth and justice was becoming a bunch of lazy bureaucrats eager to serve the ruling class’ prejudices.

No longer doing the hard and dangerous work of investigating deeply connected criminals and subversives such as the Mafia and well-financed, politically supported subversives, the FBI limited its vision to politically correct “profiles,” and started chasing small fry. Easy targets, defended by no one. What’s not to like?

After 9/11, the FBI spent few years going after very petty Islamists while covering its collective eyes to the work of major sources of trouble, such as the Muslim Brotherhood, the Palestinian Authority, and Saudi Arabia—each beloved by parts of the ruling class. But before and after this period, these profiles more often than not pointed to the ruling class’ favorite enemy: fellow Americans “excessively concerned with their liberties.”

The FBI’s method? Place agents among the target group, stoke their sentiments, and lead them to say or do something that could be characterized as a crime, then arrest them and claim credit for foiling a plot. In intelligence lingo, that is provocation. In legal terms, it’s entrapment. By whatever name, this is the work of cheap, dirty cops.

In the 1950s, the joke was that any meeting of a Communist Party cell in the New York area was likely to consist of two-thirds infiltrators, half from the FBI and the other half from the New York Police Department. But these FBI infiltrators, like those of the Vietnam era in the 1960s and early ’70s, and like those who penetrated organized crime were merely watching. Doing an honest job. They were not provoking or entrapping, not creating something that would never have been there except for their presence.

Fast forward to our time. The contrast between how the FBI behaves with regard to persons connected to the ruling class and those who are not speaks for itself. The 918 Americans who died in mass suicide in Jonestown Guyana in November 1978 were victims of a cult that had been closely associated with the California Democratic Party. Relatives of the people who were being drawn in had complained to the FBI. But the FBI had refused to keep an eye on the movement, and later officially argued that doing so would have infringed on its political and religious liberties.

And yet when the Tea Party movement arose to protest collusion between the Republican and Democratic parties against popular sentiment on a host of political issues, the FBI rushed to infiltrate it.

Having addressed countless meetings of Tea Parties in Northern California from 2010 to 2012, I experienced this infiltration directly. The audiences were respectful, and asked informative questions. When, occasionally, I got a question that seemed to push me to say something inflammatory, I made it a point to find and speak to the individual who had asked it. Invariably, the person fit a profile with which I had become familiar from my years overseeing the FBI: a man in his late 30s, who had recently moved into the community and worked for a big company, often remotely, and whose echoing of the sentiments surrounding him sounded studied. I would then advise him on how to write his report to headquarters. Generally, the man would walk away.

In the Michigan case, it seems the FBI had started by monitoring the men’s social media traffic and, on the basis of “excess concern for liberty” (prithee, what is that?) had obtained warrants for wiretaps and had inserted one or more infiltrators. But up to this time, no crime could be alleged—only what the FBI and its local affiliate considered a bad attitude.

What exactly was the infiltrator’s role in moving the men from mere talk to incipient, allegedly criminal action? That is going to be the essence of the trial. The FBI will produce recordings made by the infiltrator. When was the device turned on, and when off? To what extent do those intermissions and/or additions made to the recording contribute to the impression that this was a real plot hatched autonomously?

The accused will have the government’s and media’s full weights used against them, as would you or I.

The jury will have to decide whether the FBI was protecting society from sociopaths or whether it is itself sociopathic.

FBI Burns Their Own Informant Who Was Allegedly The Driving Force Behind Whitmer Kidnapping Plot

Chris Menahan

An FBI informant suspected of being the driving force behind the alleged plot to "kidnap" Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer was quietly hit with a gun charge by the feds last week -- potentially signalling the government's suspected entrapment scheme that ensnared the "Wolverine Watchmen" militia may be falling apart.

From The Detroit News (Archive), "Feds indict Whitmer kidnapping case informant as secret rift surfaces":

The indictment of Wisconsin resident Stephen Robeson, 58, for illegally possessing a high-powered sniper rifle is the latest legal development in a criminal case that has relied heavily on informants and undercover FBI agents to reveal violent extremism in Michigan, legal experts say.

Though prosecutors have secured the conviction of plotter Ty Garbin of Hartland Township and compiled evidence that includes secretly recorded audio, video and more than 13,000 text messages, new criminal charges against a confidential informant could be exploited by defense lawyers.

An indictment after a prolonged period of cooperation suggests the relationship between Robeson and the FBI is destroyed and that prosecutors do not plan on using him at trial, legal experts said. But defense lawyers can try to call him as a witness and attack Robeson's credibility.

"This gives defense lawyers ammunition to create reasonable doubt," said Andrew Arena, former special agent in charge of the FBI office in Detroit. "It could be he broke bad on them during the investigation.

"It's a difficult proposition when you are using these guys. You're telling them don't commit crimes, you're doing everything to keep on top of them. But you're not with them 24 hours a day."

It seems more likely that the feds are only indicting Robeson as a form of witness intimidation because they fear he could testify against them and expose their entrapment scheme in court.

[...] Three sources familiar with the investigation identified Robeson as one of the government's undercover informants. Robeson attended and organized combat training in Wisconsin, participated in a June 2020 meeting in Dublin, Ohio, that served as a catalyst for the kidnapping plot, and he also attended a camp in northern Michigan where accused plotters underwent combat training, according to the sources.

Robeson's name also surfaced briefly during a federal court hearing in January. Joshua Blanchard, the attorney for accused plotter Barry Croft, mentioned Robeson while arguing government informants were the main drivers in the alleged kidnapping scheme.

Croft's lawyer Joshua Blanchard believes the government set up the meeting of militia members last summer in Ohio that led to the Gov. Whitmer kidnap plot, and that the feds paid for attendees' hotel rooms

"The government is the driving force," Blanchard says.
— Robert Snell (@robertsnellnews) January 13, 2021

The one-paragraph indictment of Robeson on March 3 does not mention the Whitmer case, and it was filed five months after FBI agents say they thwarted a kidnapping plot that involved at least 14 people. The indictment alleges Robeson, a career criminal, possessed an Armalite .50-caliber sniper rifle [...]

Defense lawyers have portrayed their clients as tough talkers who were exercising First Amendment rights who never carried out any kidnapping plot.

"If Steve Robeson is at this meeting, he's the person who's driving this and inviting people and funding it," Blanchard said.As I noted when this story broke in October right before the election, the FBI's affidavit revealed they had multiple informants and undercover agents involved in this operation going all the way back to June.

They could have arrested everyone months before the election but instead they chose to wait and drop the indictments as an "October surprise."

I predicted such a plot was going to happen two days before the story broke.

Lol, I wrote this article just 2 days ago.

Today, the FBI dropped their own "October surprise" to interfere in the election with this obviously informant-led "plot" to target Gov. Gretchen Whitmer.

FBI has been sitting on the case for months.

Robeson also appears to have infiltrated an anti-mask protest in July for the feds:

Last year, he drew public attention for protesting a mask mandate. He was interviewed by a local TV reporter as part of a story about protests at the Wisconsin state Capitol, where protesters spent two hours marching outside Gov. Tony Evers' office windows.

"We understand the virus. We understand what it is," Robeson said during the protest. "Why are we shutting our country down and restricting our movement?"

"Court documents indicate that Robeson came in contact with the militants during a pro-2nd Amendment meeting in Dublin, Ohio," Big League Politics reported. "Adam Fox, who has been alleged to be a homeless mentally-ill man, was propped up as the patsy to lead the efforts."

When are disability rights organizations going to stand up and demand the government stop entrapping low IQ, mentally disabled people in cockamamie terrorism plots?

We've seen this same pattern dozens of times.

There's a certain percentage of any population that is highly suggestible, highly gullible, very low IQ and fraught with mental issues.

The feds should be helping these people stay out of trouble rather than entrapping them in phony terrorism plots to try and justify stripping Americans of their rights!

Judge Tosses Junk Terrorism Charges against 3 Defendants in Whitmer Plot Where Ring Leader Was FBI Informant

18:00 - News

Link: http://www.stationgossip.com/2021/03/judge-tosses-junk-terrorism-charges.html

This didn’t make many headlines back in October…
The ring leader in the plot to kidnap wretched Governor Gretchen Whitmer was an FBI informant.

He was planted into the group and was the one who pushed the entire plan.

The FBI was spying on lower, middle-class Americans and setting them up on terrorism charges.

The FBI then later arrested one of their own informants in the plot,

This was occurring as Antifa-BLM rioted and pillaged cities across the US.

Charges were dropped against three defendents earlier today in Michigan.

On Monday Michigan Judge Michael Klaeren dropped terrorism charges against three men in the case.

The Detroit News reported:

Three men accused in an alleged plot to kidnap Gov. Gretchen Whitmer will not face false report or threat of terrorism charges, a Jackson County judge ruled Monday.

Judge Michael Klaeren of 12th District Court in Jackson dismissed the charge against Joseph Morrison and Pete Musico, both of Munith, and declined a request by prosecutors to add it to the charges against Paul Bellar, of Milford.

“There has to be some form of intent here to incite mayhem,” said Judge Michael Klaeren of 12th District Court in Jackson.

The charge carried a possible penalty of 20 years in prison.

FBI PLOT? : The “terrorism” plot against MI Gov. Whitmer was always just another false flag FBI scheme to entrap citizens

By PatriotRising -

FBI plot
No sooner than we heard the FBI busted a group of ‘right-wing extremist terrorists’ who were plotting to kidnap Democratic Gov. Gretchen “Lockdown” Whitmer last fall as she continued to refuse to allow her state’s businesses to fully reopen so owners could make a living amid the COVID pandemic, we were immediately skeptical and suspicious.

And why? Because the FBI under Barack Obama ceased being a law enforcement agency and became nothing but a political tool of the deep state left. We saw that as the agency was weaponized to scheme against Donald Trump as the GOP presidential contender and later president.

On Monday, a Michigan judge moved to dismiss terrorism allegations against three of the men who were initially arrested and charged with the kidnapping plot, saying that there was not enough evidence to support it.

In October, FBI agents claimed that members of the Wolverine Watchmen militia organization had concocted a plan to kidnap Whitmer as a means of starting an uprising against her government and throughout the country. In all, the Feds busted 13 people and filed various charges against them including conspiracy and terrorism.

But Jackson County Judge Michael Klaeren ruled this week after a preliminary examination of the evidence that there is not enough probable cause regarding terrorism charges against Pete Musico, Joseph Morrison and Paul Bellar.

The judge ruled that the three men’s use of an encrypted communication platform to plot out details planning the kidnapping was “in many respects no different than thinking the thought to yourself.”

“One does not even need to know all the co-conspirators,” Klaeren concluded in his ruling, emphasizing that “there has to be some form of intent here to incite mayhem.”

As to the other charges the three men face, the judge did say he saw sufficient evidence to support proceeding with them, which include providing material support for acts of terrorism, use of a firearm during the commission of a felony, and gang membership.

“The intent is so clear that these individuals were going to do more than spout off threats to each other,” Klaeren said. “They started a very big snowball that wasn’t going to stop.”

He further noted that the trio were “erratic” and “joined at the hip.”

The weapons charge carries a maximum sentence of two years; the others including terrorism and gang membership more — 20 years.

But here’s the thing: How much involvement did the FBI really have? Turns out, a lot.

As the bureau has frequently done, these men were set up essentially. The FBI ‘infiltrated’ the group which could mean one of two things — agents found out about the plot and legitimately infiltrated (which is not likely given that groups like these are tight-knit and long-time friends); or the bureau made contact with members of the group and its undercover agents pitched the idea of ‘plotting to kidnap’ Whitmer, who was, and remains, extremely unpopular among conservatives and anti-government types in Michigan (which has a history of militia activity).

The latter scenario seems more likely.

As Angelo Codevilla of American Greatness reported shortly after the men were arrested for their ‘plot’, the FBI will most definitely entrap citizens:

The FBI-generated indictment of six men on charges of terrorism for planning to kidnap Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer has all the earmarks of what has become that corrupt agency’s standard operating procedure. Their lawyers are sure to claim they were victims of entrapment. If the case comes to trial, I doubt a jury will convict them.

Easy targets, defended by no one. What’s not to like?

The FBI may have, at one time, been the world’s “premier law enforcement agency.” That’s simply no longer true; now it’s the premier federal agency serving the entrenched deep state.

Parents Catch FBI In Plot To Force Mentally Ill Son To Be A Right Wing Terrorist

Posted on February 15, 2018 AuthorMatt AgoristComments(63)

Link: https://www.thelastamericanvagabond...-force-mentally-ill-son-right-wing-terrorist/

The parents of a severely mentally disabled man are speaking out on how the FBI groomed him as a right-wing terrorist, knowing he’s paranoid schizophrenic.

Originally Released 08/17/17 (TFTP) It’s become a near-weekly occurrence. Somewhere in some state, the FBI will announce that they’ve foiled yet another terrorist plot and saved lives. However, as the data shows, the majority of these cases involve psychologically diminished patsies who’ve been entirely groomed, armed, and entrapped by FBI agents. Simply put, the FBI manufactures terror threats and then takes credit for stopping them.
While many of these cases have garnered attention and been exposed in the alternative media, a recent case out of Oklahoma sets a new low for FBI and exposes how insidious these plots can be.
Through the hundreds of ‘foiled terror plots’ the FBI has ‘busted’ over the years, many of them have been focused on people of Middle Eastern descent or people associated with ISIS or al-Qaeda. This time, in the case of Jerry Drake Varnell, the 23-year-old diagnosed schizophrenic, accused of attempting to bomb a bank, the FBI fomented terror from a right wing dialogue.
In a June meeting with the agent, according to FBI documents, Varnell described himself as a believer in “Three Percenter” ideology, a right-wing group claiming to be committed to standing against and exposing corruption and injustice.

According to federal documents, Varnell drove what he believed was a stolen van containing a 1,000-pound ammonium nitrate bomb on Saturday morning to blow up an Oklahoma City bank. Vile, indeed.
However, if we backtrack just a bit, to when the FBI began grooming their would-be right-wing militia terrorist, the vileness comes directly from the government.
“The FBI knew he was schizophrenic,” Varnell’s parents declared on Wednesday in an open letter bravely published by NewsOK.
Underneath his condition, he is a sweet-hearted person and we are extremely shocked that this event has happened. However, what truly has us flabbergasted is the fact that the FBI knew he was schizophrenic. The State of Oklahoma found him mentally incompetent and we, his parents have legal guardianship over him by the Court. These documents are sealed from the public, which is why no news media outlet has been able to obtain them. The FBI clearly knew that he was schizophrenic because they have gathered every ounce of information on him.”

Yet they knowingly continued to groom him, despite the clear immoral implications.
When they began grooming him, according to the family, the FBI knew that Varnell was declared mentally unfit to live by himself and that he was a paranoid schizophrenic. Without their criminal informant and the FBI tactics playing mind games with this vulnerable man, the idea of him committing an act of terror would have likely never materialized.
What the public should be looking at is the fact that the FBI gave our son the means to make this happen. He has no job, no money, no vehicle, and no driver’s license, due to the fact that he is schizophrenic and we; his parents do everything we can possible to keep him safe and functional….. He has suffered through countless serious full-blown schizophrenic delusional episodes and he has been put in numerous mental hospitals since he was 16 years old. The FBI came and picked him up from our home, they gave him a vehicle, gave him a fake bomb, and every means to make this happen none of which he had access to on his own.”
The parents noted that during the setup, they suspected something was going on and Jerry’s father told the informant to stay away from their son. However, according to the parents, the informant “continued to sneak onto our residence. The FBI paid him to continue this operation and I believe they have cleared his criminal record.”
Because they knew Varnell had severe mental disabilities, the FBI should have had stopped their plans to do this and immediately sought an option of hospitalization. However, they pressed on.
Knowing a sane person would likely never attempt to blow up a bank, the FBI deliberately targeted a severely delusional and mentally ill person. This is wrong on so many levels. Will the next mass murderer they groom come directly from a mental institution?

“The FBI should have filed conspiracy on our son and had him committed to a mental institution. They should not have aided and abetted a paranoid schizophrenic to commit this act. There are many more facts that I will not make public that will support my son and the disturbing acts made by the FBI.
I realize that many will say my son could have found another person to commit this act. Yet, any person that has access to the materials and the state of mind necessary to bomb a building would not have any need for a schizophrenic who has no resources to contribute.”
Clifford and Melonie Varnell, Jerry’s parents make a powerful point. No one — other than the FBI — would’ve attempted to get a schizophrenic man with nothing to contribute to do their bidding as it would most likely be a futile effort — unless you are the FBI looking for an easy patsy to keep fear alive.

David Steele, a 20-year Marine Corps intelligence officer, the second-highest-ranking civilian in the U.S. Marine Corps Intelligence, and former CIA clandestine services case officer, had this to say about these most unscrupulous operations:
Most terrorists are false flag terrorists, or are created by our own security services. In the United States, every single terrorist incident we have had has been a false flag, or has been an informant pushed on by the FBI. In fact, we now have citizens taking out restraining orders against FBI informants that are trying to incite terrorism. We’ve become a lunatic asylum.”
Indeed, we’ve become a lunatic asylum.
