MERRIAM, Kan. -- Police are looking for three men in connection with a rape in the parking lot of an apartment complex in the 7300 block of Royalty Way on Sunday.
A 22-year-old woman told police she was visiting a friend at the King's Cove Apartments, but when she arrived, she found her friend wasn't home.
The woman said three Hispanic men who were
utside drinking beer walked up to her in the parking lot. One man, described as being in his late 20s, 5 feet 10 inches tall, with a stocky build, forced her into an older model white sedan and raped her. A

second man, described as shorter and more slender, held the woman down
during the attack.
Tenants said the apartment managers didn't inform them of what happened.
"They don't report these crimes to tenants. We didn't know about it. Now I'm aware, and I'll be on guard, total guard, from here on out," said Sara McGuire, who lives in the building.
Police are looking for a white, 1980s-model, four-door car with a "boxy" style in connection with the attack. Anyone with information on the crime is asked to call the TIPS Hotline at (816) 474-TIPS.
